WANTED TO BE REVIVED AS RINNE TENSEI!

edo tensei needs a living sacrefice and i think the body that kabuto used for madara, wasn't strong enough to contain a bijuu, and no body on earth could contain a juubi, and i think only madara's body could do so

thats why he wanted him to bring his body and soul back with rinne tensei.

madara is no currently thinking i can't seal the juubi now and obito can maybe do it , but i'm not sure...

so he's maybe gonna try and use his sharingan on it or just avoid being seen by it:P
