Well, Kishimoto took the time to bring the main villain back to life and now Orochimaru is about to show Sasuke the real truth around here.

But isnt it odd? I know I said this alot but....

Why did Orochimaru/Kabuto revive Madara?

Why did Orochimaru spent years of studying to redevelop Mokuton within Madara?

Danzo and Yamato were prototypes to complete what Orochimaru had in mind for Madara.

So why did Orochimaru take all that effort to end it like this? Not caring about Madara's plans.

I think Orochimaru wants Madara to develop the Tsuki no Me plan till its fulfilled and the Juubi is awakened.

From there he will steal his body(Who is Madara's ET Vessel?).

He also created an Sennin Mode that is completely anti-genjutsu, meaning he wont be affected by this Infinite Tsukuyomi, know what im saying?

Those cells were added because of Kabuto. Sage mode for the snake makes him blind to genjutsu.

Maybe if he took over Sasuke's body first. , I remember I had the theory a long time ago that Obito wanted Sasuke to become the juubi jinchuriki (Because he said something about syncing Sasuke with the gedo mazo) and then
Orochimaru would pretend to be Sasuke and become the host of juubi himself
