1. Gai is about to faint/die
2. Kakashi only has so much reserves left
3. B only has so much reserves left

No, it's not a bad thing. Why? Because it adds even more suspense to the story. Now the fans are even more eager to know what will happen next.
How are they going to defeat the juubi while they still have two other enemies on the battlefield and two of the one's fighting are almost down?
This creates more suspense and it's something most writers usually do.
