Good theory because i actually think that i would obito is going to turn good at some point, probably around the time that kakashi explains his reasoning for killing Rin.

This would actually be a good twist considering that Madara has always wanted to dominate the world through power and fear.

Well it would make sense that Madara manipulated Obito. I mean, he did want control of the Leaf Village. So I really dont think he wants that dream world. The whole back story with Obito seemed like a set up. Think about it: The Eye of the Moon Plan 1st was said to be getting the tailed beasts together and getting a monopoly on the war market, then, it was gathering the tailed beasts to create a big weapon to destroy any village wanting war to deter war, and now it is to put everyone to sleep? Naw, Madara wants some mindless, obedient slaves.
