why didnt itachi use sword of tosuga or yata mirror against kabuto?

Itachi had the sword of totsuga against nagato, he sealed nagato with it so why didnt he use his legendary weapons against kabuto?

Well he didn't want to seal Kabuto or anything, since he still needed to force him into deactivating Edo Tensei. As for the shield.. well the techniques Kabuto used didn't really depend on the shield or not anyways.

because Itachi wanted to have Kabuto end edo tensei trapping him in some bottle won't accomplish that.

OT: even if Itachi tried it wouldent have worked because Kabuto has 2 tech's that can disable Susanoo and because of his perception ability's in SM it would be dam neer imposible.
