What exactly was Orochimaru and Kabuto's Overall Goal?

Orochimaru and kabuto always wanted sasuke's body
but really just a living uchiha body

hiruzen knew orochimaru wanted sasuke before anko even told him

Kabuto did experiments on himself
he now can alter his body like the houzuki clan
can steadily absorb nature chakra because of the juugo clan
and has impressive recovery power thanks to karin of the uzumaki clan

and when kabuto was doing the experiments it shows him doing tests on them

Kabuto and orochimaru know how to get the rinnegan cause of their hypothesis and madara activating it confirmed it

so is orochimaru and/or kabuto's ultimate goal to have all these experiments on them and the rinnegan and does this imply that the sage of the six path had a sage mode

Yea i agree their overall goal was to master everythin in the world with all the info and unlock supreme secrets of the shinobi world, because it was "possible" and with it could be "possible" to do anything but really they just needed to sit back and enjoy life
