What if Totsuka Blade is linked with Tsukuyomi?

Inside the Totsuka according to Zetsu, its a world of dreams, or nightmares. Isnt Tsukuyomi the same? But just temporarely. And Totsuka permanent.

What if Madara was searching for the Totsuka Blade for all these years? Same like Orochimaru.

its a possibility but totsuka blade is a sealing blade and i think madara wants to put everyone under a permanent genjutsu all at once so totsuka blade wouldnt be very helpful

Totsuka actually better since Infinite Tsukuyomi will make the victims body rot till death and gone.

The Totsuka blade leaves them in a "drunken dream world" while Tsukuyomi is of the Spirit world and Darkness. Tsukuyomi is more linked with Amaterasu than anything.

I'd say their similar but Tsukyomi doesn't seal but tortures its victims, so this is one of the qualities that differentiates them. Also I don't think Totsuka Blade or/and Yata Mirror would have any affect on Madara since kishi always trolls and suprises the fans by showing Madara to have a counter out of the blues. Another thing is, maybe Edo Itachi knew that his best abilities/weapons would not work on Edo Madara which is why he chose not to fight him and left it to Naruto and the others.

It is not! The Totsuka is a jar of sake, the blade seals you into this jar forever, where you spend eternity in a drunken stupor. There is no dream or nightmare. Genjutsu works on the mind, this is entirely physical.
