During the naruto and bee vs itachi
And Nagato
Fight , itachi briefly did some hand
To hand with naruto . Does that mean that itachis speed rivals A"s ?
Hey dude
All the thing Naruto could to was to avoid Ay lightning armor punch, but Naruto did not managed to avoid it many times.
According to Itachi, all thing naruto needed to do was his combo or jutsu, but against Ay he didn't have got the chance to use his techs or use combo on Ay.

NO ... thanks to the sharingan... his reflexes are fast not the speed
not true, remember when in sage mode he blitzed Asura path as it went for Tsunade, and he 1 shotted him, naruto can blitz, but plot won't allow it.
That attack was more a surprise attack because the path didn't see it coming. If it did, it could have reacted better to the attack. Sage mode naruto does give a slight speed boost, but not like KM/BM.
I can explain in full detail why he isn't able to blitz and its not because of plot.

I really don't see what stops naruto from going full speed and slapping ppl like he slapped the TBB's, i mean it's really as simple as the fact that if he blitzed and 1 shotted everyone, there would be no show, but Naruto has demonstrated the speed and precision to blitz, it's purely plot holding him back.

This is about ninjas who are so fast that they can "blitz" almost any oppenents with their speed and use it to primarily take down their opponents.
Prime examples of Ninja who have used speed in the past to overwhelm their opponents:
Now to the point of this thread. There are shinobi who have been considered fast and can use their speed to gain an advantage in a fight, but what is the point in which a ninja's speed is considered to be fast enough in order to "blitz" an opponent?
Now in order to do that we must define the term blitzing
Blitzing, in general, is defined as sudden/intense/lightning fast attack; in this case, however, it is referred to as a series of attacks that are so fast that the opponent is unable to react to them.
Throughout the manga, we have seen plenty of times the people listed above have used speed to take out their opponents, but only a few of them have actually demonstrated speed that hardly anyone else is able to physically react to.
These people are as listed:
1)Minato
2)4th Raikage
3)3rd Raikage
4)Lee
5)Guy
Now you might be wondering, "why is Naruto not on this list? He has KM/BM and has proven to be even faster than the raikage himself."
Now to answer this, Naruto is relatively new to his newfound speed and, as such, has not used it unless he absolutely needed to.
Now you may be asking, "Why would he not use this speed on a regular basis?"
For one, Naruto is unused to moving at such speeds for long periods of time and has not shown anything else other than extremely fast one-shot attacks/movements. It is also not his style of fighting since he relies mostly on shadow clones to overwhelm his opponents. Compared to the above mentioned, who have trained the majority of their lives incorporating their overwhelming speed into their fighting style, Naruto is much more likely to hurt himself than they are do to him being unused to this kind of speed and had done so when he first tried to use his speed to attack Kisame.
So far, Naruto has kept himself from utilizing his full speed in order to keep from hurting himself. Anyone who says otherwise is not taking into consideration the amount of time and effort it takes to fully and effectively develop one's speed while incorporating it into their fighting style as the others have.
Since that is out of the way, we can now proceed to discuss about the people who have demonstrated the ability to overwhwlm their opponents with speed.
Now, the first time we saw someone truly blitzing an opponent was when Lee opened the gates to bypass Gaaras sand and proceeded to attack Gaara repeatedly and extremely quickly.
The next time we saw someone blitzing an opponent was when Guy first opened the gates to attack the Kisame clone before he could react, completely overwhelming him with attacks. While it wasn't a true blitz like Lee has done, it is implied that, as Lee's sensei, that he could do the same thing himself.
Next on the list is the raikages. The raikages have developed the lightning armor to increase their reflexes/reaction time and combined with the body flicker technique makes them one of the fastest in the world. The raikages , while able to overwhwlm their opponents with devastating speed and power have not yet shown the ability to repeatedly attack the same target in a blitz-like manner and instead have used it to make-extremly quick and powerful one-shot burst attacks that can obliterate almost anything in their path. This linear attack style keeps them from moving in a circular fashion which reduces their overall agility, but allows them to maneuver across a battlefield quickly and efficiently.
Last but not least is Minato, who is considered the fastest in the NV due to his FTG technique and his superior reflexes. While his base speed is fairly impressive, it is his FTG that grants him such manueverability that he is capable of taking out an entire platoon of ninja in mere seconds with it. Though his technique it is not classified as speed, the speed at which he uses the technique it still allows him to effectively blitz any person in the vicinity of a marked kunai or a teleportation seal.
Here are examples of blitzing an opponent using the NUNSG game video I made recently. This is just to get an understanding of what blitzing looks like, even though some are a bit exaggerated and not exactly canon according what each has shown in the manga
So, with all of this in mind, it is safe to say that the only people who are capable of truly blitzing an opponent would be Guy, Lee, and Minato with his FTG. As mentioned earlier, the raikages do not try to attack their opponents reapeatedly with super quick attacks, but rather go for a linear, one-shot attack to finish their opponents.

I really don't think it's this complicated, even if naruto has everything he needs to blitz, his actions are dictated by kishi's pen, characters in the story never do the most logical actions, kishi never really uses everyone as effectively as they could be, and it's due to plot, naruto would be broken if he had speed such as A, but he has been seen avoiding him at his top speed, if he can dodge A while in KM, he should be able to blitz ppl, it's really that simple, but as I've said, Kishi is an entertainer above all, and he draws fights out, so ppl can demonstrate all of their techs and abilities.
if it weren't so, then amaterasu would have killed half the cast by now, or what about the fact that tobito could have teleported anywhere at anytime and simply kidnapped jincuuriki in their sleep? It's all plot.

If you really think about it, naruto has only used his speed a few times in comparison to the others I mentioned above. You can blame plot all you want, but this is using an explanation to verify why naruto has such speed but isn't using it like other known top tier speedsters.

I understand what you're trying to say, but at the end of the day, none of Kishi's characters have free will, naruto only demonstrates speed when Kishi allows it, it's not like he can make up his own mind on whether to blitz or go in yelling with rasengan, Kishi just like to draw his fights out.

Totally understandable POV
off topic: btw what do you think of my video? I worked really hard on it and I've been wanting some input about it for a while now.
