Kakashi is slowly becoming the Piccolo of Naruto

In the beginning, Piccolo was a complete BA and a main figure in the respective anime. Then over time, he was getting surpassed by everyone. In the end, he was still a BA, but was subject as fodder because of Akira Toriyama.

In the beginning, Kakashi was the same way. He was a complete BA and was tanking villains. Over time, his role got smaller and smaller and became more of a support character to the new generation. He is *starting* to get surpassed by his students/Konoha 11. And he is getting closer to becoming side-kick fodder because of Kishi. I truly hope Kishi doesn't follow in the same footsteps as his idol, Akira Toriyama. *Kakashi fans, calm down, I am not trying to downplay or insult the man, but I am starting to notice the signs. Hopefully he doesn't get placed in Piccolo status. Anyone else see this coming?

The man is fully responsible on almost everything that happen right now(Obito would not have turned evil if he didn't see him kill Rin, so no akatsuki, no war, etc), and you say his role is smaller? Seems legit

Obito stated he is the one who pushed Yahiko to create Akatsuki, so no Obito, no Akatsuki. And who could Madara have found to execute his plan better? Zetsu made us understand that Madara choosed Obito because he saw a great potential in him, so it wasn't a random choice

akastuki were already there, the only thing that obito did is to push them in to more extreme action like capturing the bijuu, they were already a mercenary after all.......

Well newer generations will surpass older ones but naruto is 16 and still too young, take away the kyuubi and naruto is no match for him. IMO the only one who has surpassed him is sasuke.

Very true. But saying Naruto w/o Kurama is like saying Goku w/o SSJ. While, yes, one was transferred and the other is a born talent, they are techs nonetheless.
