I think Vergo actually does this already, he used something similair to Shigan while using Haki and his body is pretty damn resistant from what was shown indicating he might be using Tekkai along with this haki o-o

yep, like being able to tank kizaru's attacks or something like that. maybe that's what luffy needs so that he's unharmed by swords...

Seems that Vergo is the first we see using Rokushiki fused with haki. I bet Lucci would be able to beat him if he has haki too.
