Percy comes into long range of Kumo's Eastern gates (if they are there, if not, the eastern border of the village), taking a deep breathe before he moves forward. His earth sensory still in effect, Percy makes one more handseal, using the jutsu once more, raising the amount of chakra in the earth and allowing him to sense those in contact with the earth even better, sensing the location of those in the village, shinobi and villagers alike. He then walks into mid range of the village, constantly noting the position of everyone.

And we have arrived....

As they arrive at Kumo from the east Dawn informs Barney of a huge amount of activity inside the village and outside of the village. Barney suddenly speaks to the two.

Seems like we're here. I hope someone comes and greets us.

After saying that he commands Dawn to land on the ground and pick up the Gray Fox figure. As he jumps on Dawn, they lift back up.

Sensing a group of ninja with high chakra levels moving towards their location with great haste, Percy assumes this is a defensive group, aiming to take them out. Realizing this, Percy acts with great haste himself.

Well, I ain't waiting on no welcoming committee...

After Dawn picks up Fox and lifts back up, Percy makes one clone, who then, grabs him by his arm and throws him high into the air before making one handseal, causing the entire village of Kumo to explode violently, decimating everyone in contact with the earth and inside the village as the debris blows around from the gigantic mountains falling on them. The sheer force from the explosion leaves behind smoldering crater in the middle of the earth where Kumo once stood, now as destroyed as the Leaf was when Pein attacked, possibly even more, causing the clone to poof away from the impact.

Since I used the previous earth jutsu twice, I added a great amount of chakra into the earth, blowing it up completely, effecting every ninja in the village not already involved in fights.

Meanwhile, the clones Percy created earlier arrive in the Mushroom Country, scouting the area.

Normally unflappable, even Fox was startled by the show of strength Percy had just displayed.

Fox: Such power.....is this what has been created through the endless wars between shinobi? Steel sharpening steel to this fine a blade.....

Fox's eyes narrowed on Percy, thinking of how an ally today is an enemy Tomorrow. His hand wrapped around the grip of his katana as he contemplated his choices. Noticing the man on the bird with his back to him, he slowly began to slide the sword from its sheath.

Fox: If I kill them now....no. This isn't the time or place. Should that day come, we'll destroy them with our full power.

The katana retreated into the sheath.

Shisui with his sharingan active,notices the chakra that is being channeled through the ground.He notices the facet that the chakra appear to be very dense and concludes that a doton jutsu is going to be used.Upon realizing this shisui shouts out to his comrades.

As he shouts,his comrades,kanade and makise immediately jumps up into the air while shisui with his advanced mastery over lightning,forms a chidori in his clenched fist and slams it through the ground,releasing the chidori current to bolt forward,through the ground.The lightning current tears apart the earth and negates the doton chakra that you channeled,thereby canceling your earth jutsu.The lightning would tear the earth apart as it heads forwards,towards you.

As the ninja appear at long range and as they jump into the air Barney performs a single handseal, with a smirk on his face. In almost an instant a huge solid water cube materializes around the Kumo ninja, as the lighting erupts from one of their ninja's hands, electrocuting them and instantly killing them.

Well that was easy.

Chakra was already channeled through the earth with the use of mole eyes so I wouldn't have to channel more chakra but just make the one handseal, causing the already chakra filled earth to explode. Even with your sharingan active, you wouldn't have time to respond. Also, have you ever seen any explosion? Jumping in the air won't stop the concussive force from it plus the massive amounts of earth blasting around you. Also, I'm not within the village, but mid range from it. If you're long range from me, you'd be in the middle of the village. You'd be utterly defenseless by jumping into the air with all the mountains around you exploding. o_o

I completely disagree, having chakra for another technique doesn't mean you can use another with the same chakra. Plus the fact that your jutsu had such a huge amount of chakra into it means it needs more chakra from you to go into the ground, mold to fit long range and explode, he have the shraingan advantage. He can see the chakra going to long range. So please don't argue and just continue. Even that way you used that jutsu doesn't make sense, its a long ranged technique, a village is way wider! using it twice doesn't increase its range because you cannot have your chakra channeled into that large area. Kumo is like a chain mountains, a huge surfs needs to be covered with your chakra so please, just please don't start arguing and go with it..

My opinion was asked regarding Igneels defensive move. Note that I didn't read anything other than LOK's last moves and Igneels reply.

Like LOK explained, and with that I agree, saying "I jump and avoid the technique" isn't a valid counter. So the other members have an issue there...a severe one.

Not only that but the earth explodes meaning that if they jump, they would still be caught in it.

Now, even with the sharingan, Igneel can't break the time frame. He knows or can somewhat deduce what is to come yes, but that doesn't mean he can initiate his counter before his opponents technique connects. With his description i don't know if he used it triggered by the mole eyes or by the explosion. If triggered by the mole eyes, ok. If triggered by the explosion then there is a problem as his counter can only happen after the explosion and needs to be counter to the explosion itself and not a counter to actually cancel it. So the chidori perfect form would ravage the land through the explosion towards Lok but wouldn't delete the whole explosion happening all around.

This said, two scenarios:

A-Igneel notices chakra in the earth and as a caution decides to use the lightning technique. This would happen after the mole eyes but before the earth explosion thing thus breaking the use of it as Lok has to defend from it beforehand. This however basically destroys the ground he's standing as he stated himself its used on the ground beneath him. However, this technique would damage you if done this way igneel...but ok. Counter would somewhat save Igneel but wouldn't save his friends because of the jump thing. Lighting rampages through the ground towards LOK's position.

A-Igneel notices the explosion tech and tries to use the lighting technique but by the time he notices the explosion happening, the speed of an explosion makes it impossible to use a lightning technique like that to block the damage of it. The lightning would rampage through the explosion yes and head to LOK but would be ineffective to deal with all of the explosion that happened. So the counter fails.

All and all, the others simply "jumped" thus they didn't counter the explosion. Igneel's counter may be a bit confusing but I think its the case of point A and not point B.

Going by the assumption that you are now in mid range from us since i was standing at mid range from the village. If you disagree with being mid range, VM me and I'll change it to long range as the jutsu doesn't affect my move at all.

As Percy is tossed into the air by his clone, he sees you and your allies arrive and they jump into the air as my clone uses his earth jutsu, still catching them in the explosion but not you as you create a Chidori in your hands that you slam into the earth, destroying the earth around you and negating the doton chakra around you. Percy smirks, making a handseal, spreading his lightning chakra through the air, allowing him to gain control over your Chidori, making it rebound on itself as it spreads out, hitting your allies and yourself, causing immense pain upon you as the birds smash into you from short range, striking you as you realize that your jutsu isn't performed the way it was meant to. As the birds hit you seconds after you use it, it doesn't have much time to destroy the earth, allowing the earth technique to be performed, destroying the mountains and the eastern half of Kumo (up to long range from Percy and since he is standing mid range from Kumo, and it reaches up to long range, at least half the village will have been destroyed).

After Percy does this, he quickly makes a string of handseals and summons his gourd to the field, quickly snatching the Fuuton and Katon chakra sealing tags from the side and drops it in the gourd, sealing off those two elements from anyone on the field as they stand and watch their enemies bodies being fried.

Timeframe:
1.you make the chidori and slam your hand onto the earth
2. i immediately afterwards make the handseal of the jutsu, taking control of it as it reaches the limits of short range from you, as it travels outwards and make it come back to you
2a. my clone summons the gourd and seals off wind and fire

Meanwhile, Percy's clones continue their searching of the Mushroom City. Clone 1, who shall be referred to as Nico from this point forward, walks towards clone 2, aka Jason, and Odysseus look over the area, not seeing anyone there. Odysseus then releases a very thick mist throughout the area, allowing him to sense the whereabouts of anyone in the city. Not sensing anyone there, he alerts Percy via telepathy, letting him know that the Mushroom City has become secure.

Odysseus' ability doesn't count as jutsu of the user.

Sidenote: I planned on continuing the actions of my clones and the liger at the end of my replies to you but I realized if anyone comes to that location to fight, i can't keep replying from here as it'd get a bit confusing. Should I make a thread for the clones or is it okay as is...?

Shisui with his sharingan notices the lightning released getting affected by a foreign chakra,eh immediately pulls out his hand and notices that the foreign chakra seems to be taking control over his lightning.Shisui immediately knows its the same jutsu that the shodaime raikage(mugiwara) used against him,during one of their fights in kumogakure.Knowing his comrades are right above him(mid-air) and that they are defenseless,shisui with his quick thinking comes up with something.As the lightning turns back and comes at shisui,shisui looks upwards and releases a geyser of water from under his feet with such force that it shoots him upwards .Using his sharingan,shisui perfectly times and grabs makise and kanade by their collar suing each hands,as he heads upwards thereby escaping the lightning and the explosion.We land back on the ground safely a few seconds later

(Suiton: Mizu Handou) – Water Style: Hydro Kick

The lightning jutsu is not something that has a homing function built into it.It passes through another direction,and we just went straight upwards.

After receiving the headset from the bigmouth tailed fox, Barney observes the two other battles taking place nearby. He notices the grey fox samurai killing the kumo ninja and Percy fighting a kumo uchiha. He decides to go further towards the village.

I also command Dawn to follow me and inform me of any disturbances of water molecules in the air around us.

As Kakashi is still standing at the gates, he notices more strangers fighting, some not so stranger-like, but as most are, they are all wearing Konoha headbands. As he begin to walk closer, Kakashi realizes that these people are formers friends.

Barney regroups with Akisha and they continue towards the east village gate. As they get closer Dawn informs Barney about a person standing at the gates. Barney and Akisha proceed cautiously until they reach mid range from the gates, where they stop.
