Shikamaru will come to aid in the battle vs Madara and when he is going to seal Madara, Hidan breaks through the earth under Shikamaru, bites Shikamarus head off and scream TAKE THAT YOU ***** WHAHAHAHAHAHA! As some body parts of Hidan were crushed he has stone parts instead of them as his cells fused with the earth AND a spiky stone mace.

Naw, he was just a character to show off some of the characters who don't get that much screen time (Shikamaru, Ino, Chouji, ETC.) He won't come back, unless Kishi trolls us with him being the final villian
