Who had/has the best way of being immortal? In your opinion.....

Hidan: A follower of Jashinism; essentially the slaughtering of lives and utter destruction was the nature of this religion. That is what gave him his power, in order to keep living forever and retaining immunity to certain death injuries, he must keep praying to his God, keep performing his rituals and keep taking lives in the most brutal fashion!


Kakuzu: To have been the only Shinobi who fought Senju Hashirama and lived to talk about it almost or over a century later, is the man with five hearts. A unique and forbidden jutsu that only he could perform, allowed Kakuzu to escape death by forcefully ripping out the hearts of other humans while keeping them conscious. A cycle he continued by replenishing his supply of hearts over hundreds of years.


Sasori: The master puppeteer; who chose to become his own creation. By retaining his own heart in the same canister that supplied his one of a kind poison, he was free of the limits by which normal humans are bound; disease, fatigue, injury......and death!


Orochimaru: The forbidden jutsu that was mastered by a single ninja from the Leaf. The Immortality Jutsu! Although, the same cannot be achieved for the victims of this jutsu, who lose their bodies, as well as their lives, when Lord Orochimaru takes over them! Moving from body to body by these means, he lives on.....

But that is not the only ability he possesses, for a white snake symbolises RENEWAL! Every cursed seal ever placed by him, retains a little part of him. The only catch, is that he must be revived by his own followers........


Uchiha Madara: Whether by his own choice or not.....he was brought into this world when Yakushi Kabuto summoned his soul through the Edo Tensei. Though Kabuto is incapacitated, Edo Madara is not! The only means to be erased, are being sealed away.....but for this to be done, one must rival the awesome and unending power of this Uchiha God, which is an impossibility in itself!


So then.......which one do you like? Don't pick your favourite ninja, just the method of staying alive!

I hated Hidan and his "religion" and after seeing Orochimaru's body change ritual it seems kinda lame to me. Only lamer way would be the Captain Ginyu body change haha.

Madara does because he can regenerate his body unlike the other "immortals" can, he doesn't age and he doesn't need to hop bodies.

The others really aren't truly immortal.

Kakazu. Madara was edo tensei by Kabuto not himself so I wouldn't even count him unless you mean how hashirama dna was keeping him alive? So Madara was never immortal till now and if you count his edo tensei form than you must count edo akatsuki too

i like the way orochimaru and kakuzu are immortal : kakuzu is bada&&&& he rippes peoples heart from their chest and orochimaru uses the forbidden jutsu that noone dares to use both of them are bada$$$$$$$$$

I would say hidan hes the only true immortal guy since it doesnt matter what you do to his body unlike oro sasori and kakuzu Madara is the only one better than him immortaly wise but i dont count him since he isnt realy immortal.

Actually it is! Emerging as a young kid when you're supposed to be 50+ years old? The timing was perfect too, though he is an over ambitious snake....he is pretty damn cool!

I would go for Hiden, though Kakuzu is a close second. Why Hiden? He's truly immortal, he doesn't seem to feel the effects of anything - most certainly won't age as he's called an immortal - and was still alive even when blown up into pieces, and yet, he completely retains his human form.

That's not the point, all thanks goes to Kabuto. Madara had 0 to do with himself becoming immortal. Besides Kabuto was letting Madara do what he wanted anyway just like the rest of akatsuki.(except a few)

But Honestly. Orochimaru has the best Immortality. WHY? Because his is the only one NOT SUBJECT TO ONE BODY/MIND. Through the useage of Senjutsu, he can continuously be brought back to life. You'd have to find EVERYWHERE that has both his DNA and Senjutsu Chakra in order to make sure he could never be resurrected.

If any of the other shinobi mentioned gets SEALED, its game over for them. Not Lord Orochimaru, Boss of all Bosses.

Not necessarily considering very few know the release seal, it's not as if all the ETs were running around releasing themselves from Kabuto's control. As far as I'm concerned when Madara released himself from Kabuto he seperated himself from Kabuto's arsenal and became himself again. He took advantage of the situation and now he's alive, in an immortal body. Thats pretty badass to me, it's all a matter of opinion though I guess.
