And why not? Uncontrolled hollowfied Kensei fought with 2 captains, 2 lieutenants and a high ranked kido corpse member and it took all of them at the same time to subdue him and since then has only grown in power. Not to mention he was a captain years before Zaraki was even strong enough to become Kenpachi so it's very likely Kensei can beat him.

Guys...I know, Kenpachi lost to Juha Bach (a friggin clone of him no less), and the guy with the huge beard is probably just as strong as Juha Bach. Still, there are many many uncertainties in play here.

For one, we don't know if Kenpachi removed his patch or used "Kendo" during the battle because he lost off panel.

Two, Kenpachi is notorious for owning a bunch of Bleach characters without Shikai, Kido, or Bankai. What if he unlocked them during the battle with one of the members of the Zero Squad.

If Kenpachi tried to take one of them on 1vs1 then I'd lose any and all respect I have for him. It would only prove what a moron he is after he lost to Juha Bach (or a copy, w/e). If, and when, he wakes up, he should be training and looking for a way to surpass his current self. Not jump into a pointless suicide battle.
