*Points finger* Well, you don't know whether or not Sasuke even has black lightning in the same context as Darui and the Sandaime Raikage. I mean, it was just a grey-ish chidori.

The 10,000 the Raikage fought? I can't say they're elite - that'd be too far. But I'm sure it was made up with mostly high-chuunin and low-jounin, with an occasional average jounin here or there.
we're getting off track, this a debate about who is a better lightning style user, not who can defeat the most enemies. Like i said before if the 3rd and sasuke fought only using raiton, raikage would win only because of his body and stanima but if sasuke uses kirin on him then sasuke would most likely win.

are you seriously gonna compare kirin to a regular lightning bolt? Kirin can destroy a whole mountain, you really think a regular lightning bolt can?

The Sandaime Raikage was stated to be only harmed by powerful, long-range futon (wind release) attacks. I don't see Sasuke with any of those, so Sasuke would not win.

A is a boss and i don't really know a lot about the 2nd Raikage so i'm voting for the 3rd.

Opinion respected, and agreed. But still, the 2nd Raikage's face though, it's like if you get too close you get knocked out.

Hey, it was you who said ninja arts don't compare to nature, and I wholly agree. (Pansy ass meteor, Madara!)
If I'm serious, yes, I do. **** YES I DO!!
Lightning ALWAYS goes for surface targets, and can cause trees to EXPLODE, (Take that, Hashirama!)
Lightning is usually around 5 km long, and produces around 500 megajoules of energy from a single strike. Source Wikipedia.
For reference, that's about 1/15000th of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombs.
Yeah, that's 1/15000th of an atomic bomb directed in a precise death ray.
It would effortlessly penetrate the mountain, if it could somehow be aimed.
EDIT: I actually learned a lot from this.

Thats true but kirin is an incredibly strong jutsu that has the power and speed that no one has used on the 3rd

lol you did a lot of research and you were funny so i'll + rep you for that.
Kirin's blast radius is much bigger than a regular lightning bolt, yes it can definetly pierce a mountain but can it actually destroy the entire mountain?

And how do you know this? The Sandaime Raikage had to deal with Tailed Beast Bombs from the Hachibi.
The worst part is that you're basing that Sasuke can win only on one jutsu that he has only been shown to use once.

Third Raikage took a Rasenshuriken to the face, and wasn't harmed.
He's the best lightning user up there.

well actually the manga never stated that hachibi actually used tailed beast bomb on the 3rd raikage.
Also im not basing that Sasuke would win only with kirin, i said maybe. Also kirin would most likely be his trump card. Alsooo kirin was meant to be a one shot kill sooo Sasuke would prob. win using kirin

Naruto's universe is different from ours, and it's possible Sasuke gathered several lightning bolts or enhanced it in some way.
An UNFOCUSED lightning bolt has roughly equivalent energy to a 120 kilograms of TNT, so it would definitely cause significant damage to the SURFACE of a mountain.
Thanks

If the Sandaime Raikage and the Hachibi fought as many times as they did, and the Hachibi described the Sandaime Raikage as he did, do you really think that it wouldn't have occurred at least once? This is logic speaking.
You're saying that kirin is his only chance. And if the Sandaime Raikage is said to be vulnerable to only powerful, long-range futon (wind release) attacks, then why does it matter if kirin was meant to be a one-shot kill? Do you think it would take down Edo Madara?

yeah he prob. did use tbb many times on him but that doesnt mean 3rd raikage didnt dodge them. Do you seriously think he could actually survive multiple tbb's?
I said may be that he would kill him with kirin. And people only say that because no one has used a jutsu as strong as kirin on him. Also considering kirin already broke susanoo which prob. had yata mirror on while blocking kirin, it would most likely be able to kill him. And yes if kirin hit edo madara it would definetely take down edo mada BUT since he's an edo he's obvisously gonna regenerate.

.
not at that range , as it is shown the battle was at point blank range
and dodging at that range , with Raikage being a close-range fighter , isnt Plausible
Kirin wont work on Raikage
Rasen Shuriken did not and Wind > Lightning
and you supposed that Lighning will Kill lighning ?
Foolish

your link seems to not be working for me but i just read ch.555 and when Naruto is talking to Hachibi, Hachibi says that he and the third had their jutsu in hand but they never used it.
and im not a "lord sasuke fanboy" im a Sasuke fan but not fanboy and I hate the people who call him "lord" just as much as you do.
Also you shouldnt call me a sasuke fanboy when your logic is "king Naruto is > than the whole nv combined.
