    What I want you do describe to me is the element. Tell me all about Water. What it is, how it works. And, more importantly, how does it react when confronted with other elements AND how can you use it with other elements to make it more powerful.

    Btw, when I ask you from combinations with other elements, I don't want "Water + Earth = Wood" I want something like "Wind boost Fire, giving it fuel and make it stronger and faster". Kay?

    Water (Suiton) is one of the basic elemental nature transformation techniques that allow the user to manipulate pre-existing water, or create their own, by turning their chakra into water. It takes much more ability to create the water outside the body than to manipulate what is already available or expel it from their mouths. One of the most versatile of the five basic chakra natures, Water techniques can not only change shape but state as well. Moreover, the water becomes more solid in the process as well.
    The water affinity is seemingly more common among shinobis of Kirigakure. The offensive water techniques commonly appear to do damage from the sudden force that they exert, which would cause massive internal damage to a human.

    Water is strong against fire because it naturally extinguishes the flames (though a sufficiently powerful fire technique can create steam) but is weak against earth because earth structures can dissipate the force of water rendering the technique less effective.
    Water can be used in conjunction with Lightning to increase the flow of electricity thus increasing damage taken by the target.
    Additionally, it can be used with Wind to increase the concussive and overall destructive power of a water technique.

    I'd like to reinforce the usage of Elements together with Water. You can create scolding water to attack your opponents and steam to cover your tracks. Earth techniques stop water but water can also push them, and thus you can send a river filled with sharp boulders of rock towards your opponent, for example. Mud is also good.
    I think you covered Wind and Lightning perfectly well

    Basically all Water Jutsus can fall in 5 categories, which is what I'm going to teach you. They will vary in power as the ranks go up, but their techniques are pretty much the same:

    Method 1: Basic Projectiles

    Alright...

    *I focus my water chakra into my mouth. Then I compress the water chakra as I aim for the first bottle on the fence. After that, I "spit out" the compressed water chakra with enough force to travel ten meters and to knock off the aimed bottle. Then I repeat all I did twice but aiming to the other bottles*

    I'll now present you a list of jutsus that employ this same method. Read them all and any specific question you have about any of them just ask. But they're basically all the same. Like the method says, none require water source.

    (Suiton No Jutsu) - Water technique

    Description: Creates small waves of water,small blasts, and small shields of water.

    This has other methods of preforming, but one of them is the ability to spit out small projectiles shaped like bullets. Should have the same speed as a throwing ball.

    Similar to the ones above, but has the shape of a shark thus is more hydrodynamic and aerodynamic. It is still essentially a water projectile, so it won't change speed mid-air/underwater.

    Range: Short – Long
    Chakra cost: 40
    Damage points: 80
    Description: The user performs Tiger – Serpent hand seals to create a stronger version of the Water Release: Water shark Bomb technique, which creates a gigantic shark, far larger than the user, to attack the opponent. This technique differs from its parent jutsu in being able to absorb the chakra from an opponent's technique, and in turn use that chakra to grow larger and more powerful.
    Note: Technique can only absorb up to B rank level techniques.

    The strongest water projectile technique. Is basically the same as the Shark projectile I mentioned previously, at a much bigger scale and with the power to absorb weaker techniques without loosing power or speed, which translates in the jutsus being incorporated into the shark (Earth adds debris which increases the tangibility/mass f the shark, Fire heats it up, Water adds more substance/mass, Lightning electrifies it, Wind lowers the temperature and sharpens the edges, increasing speed).

    [NOTE] Recently this technique was updated, and it now requires a water source. I just kept it here because I'm going to try and fix it back.

    These techniques also require no water source to be preformed, and are in fact one of the best ways to actually create a water source. They stand as the ability to materialize a more continuous and thus bigger stream of water, instead of a short-timed shot of water, like in the previous method.

    You can preform these techniques in two forms:

    1. Handseals
    2. Charge Chakra in the Gut
    3. Spit out a continuous stream of water.

    or

    1. Handseals
    2. Charge Chakra in the air
    3. Materialize a great mass of water from nothing and direct it at your opponent.


    Since it's continues, it carries more force than a projectile, so if a stream jutsu is of the same rank as a projectile, although the initial collision would be equal, the stream would continue to push afterwards. It is also a great way to create a water source to manipulate afterwards.

    Another great way of using it is, if the range of the technique allows, materializing the water right on top/around your opponent. If you preform it correctly, you could encase your opponent in water and drown him, or, if the opponent is using a lightning jutsu, it will cause your opponent to electrocute himself.

    But there is a disadvantage, as noted by a mist01. Since you are continuously and actively delivering chakra and water, it will make you vulnerable or at least distracted to other jutsus. I know for a fact that Izuna enjoys disrupting people's jutsus whenever he has the chance. There is an advantage to continuous output of water (or wind, fire, etc), as you can push continuously, but it also means you're busy for a longer duration of time.

    You can, at any point of the technique, dispel it and quickly focus on something else, but the danger remains, and you should be aware of it.

    Indeed. Though most of the times no one will interrupt the technique, as it is, by itself, a good way to keep your opponent distracted.

    Description: This technique allows the user to summon a massive amount of water from the sky, crushing it into the opponent. If needed, the user can cancel the technique in an instant.
    Note: The water needs to be summoned at least 10 meters above the opponent to have any real effect.

    Materialized water anywhere within range, but the water is materialized with no momentum, so it must be created at a relatively big height in order to gain more power due to gravity.

    (Suiton: Bakusui Shōha) - Water Release: Exploding Water Colliding Wave

    Type: Offensive, Supplementary
    Range: Short - Long
    Chakra cost: 20
    Damage points: 40
    Description: The user performs the snake hand seal and creates a large volume of water from their mouth spilling it toward the ground and lifting them up into the air. The user can also ride the wave, allowing him to travel at high speeds and attacking the enemy. The user can create a small ocean worth of water even in barren conditions and can use the water for additional techniques.

    Similar to many of the previous techniques. Btw, small ocean's worth is an exaggeration, it's more like a lake than an ocean.

    (Suiton: Suijinheki) - Water Style: Water Encampment Wall
    Rank: A
    Type: Defence/Supplementary
    Range: Short
    Chakra cost: 30
    Damage Points: N/A
    Description: This defensive jutsu creates a wall of water around the user. The user will use the following hand seals to activate the technique Tiger → Snake → Rat → Snake → Tiger. Enemy attacks are completely intercepted by a fence of water blown out from the mouth, and is raised from below with tremendous might. The water is blown out in the form of a circle around the user, and it makes for a defence without openings. It is also possible for the user to control the amount of water and duration at will. Furthermore, because the field of vision is maintained even while defending one can easily go on to the next move, which is a great advantage. The wall can also be formed from a pre-existing water source.

    Works similarly to previous techniques. The difference is that once the stream reaches a certain distance, about 1, 1.5 meters from your mouth, it inverts, as if it hit an invisible wall, and it forms a strong sphere around you.

    (Suiton: Dai Bakusui Shōha) - Water Release: Great Exploding Water Colliding Wave

    This one seems interesting ^^ I mean...It makes a defence without openings. Will be useful to buy some time if you need to prepare a "trap" to the oponnent (I think >.<)

    Well indeed, but it does have openings, directly bellow. Earth techniques can be used from the ground, which is not covered in water. Furthermore, since it's a water jutsu, it is pretty much defenseless against earth.

    It stands as the ability to apply your chakra onto any water source around you, and re-shape it, move it around, give it motion. Through this method, you are able to give water almost any use. It plays out similarly as the other methods. First you make Handseals, then you spread chakra on any water source within range, then you make that water source preform any action you want it to preform.

    Except a few exception, ALL the jutsus require a Water Source.

    Um...I´m not sure if I get this right...

    The jutsus mentioned in Method 1 and Method 2 don´t require a Water source (except for one).
    And most jutsus in Method 3 will require a water source.

    Is that right or I misunderstood something?

    Description: The user first performs Snake → Ram → Horse → Hare → Ram → Horse → Hare and by tspreading their hands out forward they can use this jutsu to trap a victim inside a virtually inescapable sphere of water. The only downside to this technique is that the user must keep at least one arm inside the sphere at all times in order for the victim to remain imprisoned. This jutsu can't be performed without a sufficiently large body of water to supply the water for it. The target is unable to move while within it. Because of the density of the water it can be used, to a limited extent, for defensive purposes if performed on oneself. Water clones can be used in preparation for the jutsu, which block an opponent's attack and trap the attacker in the prison using the clone's own water.

Then it streams down to the ground in one big cascade, much like a gigantic waterfall. In doing so, it resembles a huge wave, with tremendous power that can hollow out the ground. What remains after that technique's utilization is reminiscent of no less than the aftermath of a natural disaster. This is a considerably advanced ninjutsu, and activating this technique requires a fair amount of chakra.

    Description: This defensive jutsu creates a wall of water around the user. The user will use the following hand seals to activate the technique Tiger → Snake → Rat → Snake → Tiger. Enemy attacks are completely intercepted by a fence of water blown out from the mouth, and is raised from below with tremendous might. The water is blown out in the form of a circle around the user, and it makes for a defence without openings. It is also possible for the user to control the amount of water and duration at will. Furthermore, because the field of vision is maintained even while defending one can easily go on to the next move, which is a great advantage. The wall can also be formed from a pre-existing water source.

    I've taught you this jutsu already. I'm mentioning it again because you can achieve it by manipulating existing water, which is the point of this 3rd Method.

    Description: The user slashes a body of water, creating a pillar of water that launches the enemy into the air. He then releases five water sharks that attack the enemy until one devours them before imploding, launching the enemy into the air. The remaining water sharks surround the enemy and force them under water where they implode in on the enemy. It is known that if the sharks are damaged, they can regenerate themselves, unless completely destroyed.
    Note: To reform the sharks require a water source.

    Firstly you use your water chakra to make the water erupt stronger and faster, throwing your opponent in the air. Then you release 5 water shakrs (You don't need water source for that part) that you can shoot towards your enemy before you make one implode upon your enemy. You can control the sharks freely in mid-air, allowing them to turn around and attack again as you wish. If they are damaged but not completely destroyed, you can make them dive on a water source and that will repair them.

    (Suiton: Senijikizame) – Water Release: A Thousand Feeding Sharks
