If things would have been little different...If he was still there in the village when HIRUZEN died...Do you think that ITACHI had a strong chance to become hokage???

If yes WHY...

danzo and 2 elders won't allow any uchihas to be a hokage. but itachi's level is high kage

That was exceptional case... And after Kyuubi incident, Uchiha as a Hokage candidate would be questionable...

No because he murdered the Uchiha clan and is marked as a criminal. If this was in an alternate universe where the Uchiha wasn't planning a coup d'etat then Itachi wouldn't have unlocked MS as early, plus the village would probably obey to the Uchiha.

That's assumption, after all Uchiha weren't able to prove themselves innocent which lead them to their demise... But even Uchiha were forgiven there would still be a doubt and question about their loyalty...So, for Hokage candidate, NO...

so u mean to say...NO 1 in uchiha clan can become hokage even in future...No matter even if he is a GEM of a person...Just because his/her ancestors were bad...I dont agree with ur idea....
Its more or less similar to what konaha village treated naruto in his childhood...with hatred because he had kyuubi inside him...

Yes, Jiraiya didn't want to assume the mantle of Fifth Hokage so it would've definitely went to Itachi while Tsunade would've been a plan B option. Hiruzen favored Itachi and Danzo had the upmost respect for Itachi as his own Anbu Black Ops shinobi. He would've been the only Uchiha in history to end up being hokage if things didn't happen the way it did with him.

Exactly...One of the major factors on which hokage is decided is that he is the strongest ninja in town...I dont remeber but in 1 of the manga it was there....
