bleach question
why is it they only attack the shoulders?? they never seem to attack the legs to immobilize the enemies movements or the arms. and i dont really find the fight scenes exciting. its always one guy attacks and the other counters. hasnt been any sword duels yet just one strike stop and talk one strike again. well im only on episode 154, they're trying to rescue orihime. so im gonna cut it a little slack and hope the fight scenes get better....please no spoilers i'd appreciate it
also the dude with Aizen who's always smiling reminds me of Korin from DBZ

Re: bleach question
Well in bleach when they battle I'm sure you have to focus mainly on the enemy so if your looking down at there legs I'm sure your own head would come off.

Yeah, shit really goes down in Hueco Mundo.

Re: bleach question
This is the way I'd explain in....all the shinigami use swords right...well in order to swing it one has to rotate the shoulder....were one to get a deep enough cut the tendons and muscles in the shoulder would ve severed and unable to move thus preventing the use of an arm...
No arm = no fighting. They couldn't raise their hand to even use kido. An immobilized opponent csn still fight....Byakuya would have no issue with it.

Re: bleach question
maybe kendo just naturally aims high as a sword style? i dont know anything about kendo, but maybe it just isnt a fighting style designed to aim low. like karate vs akido, ya know?

They go for the shoulders because if they go to attack and their shoulders are slashed its guna be harder to lift your arms up to defend and attack, just give bleach some times your still newish to bleach it wud seem, hueko mundo battles are EPIC .
