As Vasto leaves Konoha and heads north-west he leaves behind him a letter~

"Here's to the crazy ones, the fun ones, the so random ones, the people of Konohagakure whom I respect and love to the most, I'm sorry it had to be this way but things are changing and we all need to find a place were we can adapt to these new changes. I've had a lot of fun in Konoha, mainly in the Tavern... it was fun, funny, and heart warming, we trolled so much, spammed like hell, and waited to for Scorps to rage and scold us, these moments were the best, priceless moments, unforgivable moments. All in all it was definitely a stage of my life that I'll never forget, I bid you farewell Konoha, hope I see you again.

As the visitor nears the gates, Kurapika rises his right arm to delude the arriving ninja into thinking he's being greeted.
The moment the visitor reaches midrange from Kurapika, he violently swings his arm with a friendly smile still on his face. The swing sends all five of Kurapika's chains towards the visitor as a strong gust of winds blows in the same direction, speeding up the chains and pushing the visitor back as the hangings of the chains pierce him and inflect all sorts of damage upon him.

Vasto:

As Vasto sees Kurapika's chains heading towards him he jumps in the air and spins at a high speed while at the same time releasing multiple types of weapons towards you, thus dodging your chains and attacking you at the same time.

Kurapika: You think the attack was the prank!?! Haha. Making you leave your village for a lie, and making a mockery out of your life as a shinobi is the true prank!!!

As you jump up, I keep blowing the wind which will block your kunai from hitting me.
Being busy looking up, I only notice the fire when the heat starts to get a bit higher, so I quickly activate an earth armor. However, I get slightly burned by the fire's heat from the slight delay, and the rock armor's heating.
The fire will block your sight of the armor when activated.

(Doton no Yoroi) - Earth Release Armor

Description: This Technique coats the users body with stones, making them much more resistant to attacks, at the cost of their speed. Whilst using this technique, the user can even change their appearance, but once the technique is either defeated or worn off the users original appearance is shown. The user whilst in this armor is resistant to A rank normal ninjutsu but is vulnerable to Lightning Techniques.

As the fire lightens up, and it becomes safe for me to deactivate the armor, I do so timed perfectly for you to not notice the armor having made in the first place, and all you can see is my laying down body with some burns and ash covering it. I appear to be unconscious.

Vasto then launches irrationally towards Kurapika but due to the flames covering his field of vision he does not realize that Kurapika got hit and is now on the ground dead or close to being dead ( or so he assumes ). Vasto then sees Kurapika unconscious on the ground barely breathing, he thinks to himself...

Vasto: this might be a trap.... but I can't leave someone who's barely breathing like this, it's either I finish him off and relieve him of his misery, or help him.... Ahhhhh damn it I can't leave him like this.

Vasto gets closer to Kurapika and crouches near him to get ready for first aids to heal the slight burns and look at Kurapika's injuries.

Kurapika suddenly puts on a trollish, yet satisfied looking smile on on his face and jumps up to his feet.

Kurapika: Sorry I had to pull such a ploy on you, but I couldn't just let anyone in. I had to make sure you had it before you could become one of us, you know, the will of stone.
