Ryoku gathers himself as he notices the vast amount of destruction taking place and analyzes his surroundings. With noone holding him back or being around to even stop his infiltration, he channels his Ruby chakra in his hands and fires off two lazer beams into the buildings of Kumo and all around his surroundings destroying the village..

*Gaara is standing guard,making up for all the shifts he has missed. He sees Ryoku approaching and knows something is wrong. Gaara quickly prepares a swamp. As Ryoku is preparing his Ruby technique, Gaara combines Doton chakra with the earth below him. Just as Ryoku fires, he has the Earth below him turn into a 30 meter deep swamp. The Swamp spreads 10 meters around you in every direction. This causes Ryoku to fall down rapidly, reaching waist deep in seconds. The sudden drop causes him to misfire, saving Kumo from damage. As Ryoku drops waist deep, Gaara uses his chakra to create an illusion that envelopes Ryoku in complete darkness. Gaara uses this as an opportunity to create a mudslide from the swamp that smothers Ryoku, who has sunk up to his shoulders in the swamp. This drowns Ryoku in the airless Swamp.*

You broke the timeframe by performing your earth technique before my technique was finished... If youre performing your handseals and focusing your earth chakra as its already there before I have fired off the beams then that would be a timeframe break man. Your technique began before mine has been created. Since you are mid range away from me, you along with your village would be leveled down by the beams.

i have around 4-5 s ranks that cover enough of an area to destroy a village, hell some a ranks can, its not about the rank, its the area of effect involved in the technique

True, but a village realistically is a bigger range then short-long.
So no custom techniques should really exceed that range, i think village destroying moves are few and far, mainly pein's techniques have that potential. lol

long range includes anything 100m to a few km with lot of cannon moves, so there is no reason why custom techniques cannot reach that far

True but the difference is we have evidence that these canon moves involve that sort of range, a laser beam to me always seems like more of a straight line attack, The only laser beams shown in Naruto are pein's path ones, so thats really the only evidence of how something like that functions, its not like a huge deal considering Kumo was already destroyed though.

1) nagato, you just made another move in another thread and before anyone replied to it you made a new thread with this move. So you just did 2 moves back to back without waiting for a reply.

2) the counter posted was not time frame break. He allowed you to begin your move before he made his as a sensei you should really learn the timeframe. Also, stop trying to be like Minato and claim that jutsu do somthing they don't. It really gets old.

-as jinso clone makes it and see that gaara is having trouble with the akatsuki the clone quickly weaves one handseal before releasing a high intensity spear shaped lightning attack to clash with the akatsuki's beam. at the same time the clone defends against the enemy's attack gaara weaves the necessary seals before causing the earth below the akatsuki member to quickly transform into a swamp 10m radius and 30m depth to trap akatsuki member. once i noticed that the akatsuki is trapped i then harden the mud into multiple spears that will impale him from all directions ensuring his death if the swamp didn't kill him before.-

This, coupled with the sheer speed of the lightning, makes it a difficult technique to evade. To arrive, you either need a flying summon, or start climbing an endless mountain. Wile you are climbing, our sensors would be fully able to see you. If you were on a flying summon, I apologize for interfering, I just want everyone to take a good note on that fact: Kumo's location + it's clouds are it's own defenses.
