Hi i'm not trying to be funny or anything in fact i'm quite scared but can someone please set my mind at ease and tell me that the world ain't gonna end 21st dec 2012 as prophesised or even better can someone prove that it's not gonna end this year cause i'm panicking there's exactly 31 days till that terrifying day which means there's a month till we all die please please please tell me it's not true.

In regard to the antichrist thing, its not really something to worry about in the next month. The whole idea of that person's identity has been thrown around many times. People believed that people ranging from Napoleon to Adolf Hitler to Ronald Wilson Reagan, even to Barack Obama were the antichrist, and there is no evidence proving any of them were. The main legend about the antichrist is that he or she will unite the entire world into essentially one religion and one nation, in a sense. Basically, the legend includes them becoming the president or ruler of the entire world, directly earning the position through the overwhelming support of the world at large.

From what I have heard/ read, this is the basis of the legend. Now given the current state of the world, I'd say we are no where near a point of ever uniting our world at large and picking a single ruler to guide us as united human race. Now if what Milwaukee was saying is true, perhaps our consciousness might change here soon and perhaps these events may be more applicable to us in 10 or perhaps 20 years, but there is no way any of this will occur within the next month.

Bottom line? I think you can rest easy about Dec 21st. There is no reason for you to loose hope in regard to anything occurring after the 21st of December. How could you ever properly live your life thinking the world is going to end? Trust me, its not worth it. Again, if your main concern is in regard to the antichrist, please realize that a possible future like that is no where near occurring. Not only would the world's mindset have to make a complete 180, but a power would have to rise with a level of influence that we can't even imagine. It is not something that will surpass entirely in a span of one short month.

that prediction is based off the mayan calender, the mayans didnt account for leap years, if you add all the february 29ths that have happened after the maya then you realise their "apocalypse" was supposed to happen last year sometime in september i think, or you could just look at the facts - the only people who say it is going to end are religious and or crazy, how many religious end of times prophecies have come to pass, like the rapture . then go and look at what nasa scientists and other educated people have to say on the matter, after researching into it only a moron would believe it.

People were convinced the world would end when the year 2000 was reached, that didn't happen. Basing the end of the world's date on the cyclical calendar of a long-dead civilization makes little sense to ME, at least.
