I think they are doing what Bee did with Sasuke where he made a clone and made it look like the whole Hachibi... but Bee is in that tentacle and they are planning a sneak attack

The one leg that wasn't absorbed was the one Naruto was holding on to. Naruto threw Bee, then Bee transformed, and Kakashi absorbed the tentacle. Then sent it out as they were there. All in an instant. If this wasn't the case, there is no way that Bee could have the same speed as Kakashi/SM Naruto as he was pulled back to the real world

yea..this is exactly what happened....kakashi warp Gyūki to the other dimension...but wasn't able to make a clean warp, and his tail got cut off...just like when he tried to Deidara, and his arm got cut off...

thats why kakashi apologize to Gyūki, and said sorry 4 your leg...

now it makes sense(at least to me)

My version:

- Bee transformed into a tentacle (an old trick), tricking Obito to think that he was obliterated by the Juubi ("Did I give it too much consciousness?")

- The Nine Tails threw Naruto and Kakashi above Juubi's eye

- Kakashi used Kamui against Bee's tentacle midair

- Just before the tentacle was absorbed, Bee got out and attacked with his Tailed Beast bomb.

Note that Kakashi, unlike Obito, is unable to bring back things from other dimension.
