That doesn't prove anything actually, he just didn't try to combine them. Plus, why would he try to combine the two modes if he only needs Sage Mode for sensing abilities? It's not like hes gonna fight with it or something.
IMO it still remains unclear.

so he wouldn't mind changing mode to mode... it'll be a lot cooler to see SM combined with BM

Not really true, as I've said a 1000 times. Besides Naruto had 1 clone, which he made in the prev chapter. It is simply more useful for Naruto to have a SM clone and a BM clone. They are way too different in the way and style of fighting. It's idiotic to combine them. All Narutos SM techs except rasen shurinken are close range, and with Kurama he has mainly mid-long range, and his jutsu in this mode is more powerful than rasen shurinken, so using clones for close up is better.

Rofl how does it make it "easier" ? Sage mode is pretty damn imba. When you use it for a clone, you can cover it while it regains natural energy, and it has NO impact whatsoever on the real one, since it gathers chakra on its own, so it doesn't take chakra from the real one. Using kage bunshins is Narutos far STRONGEST technique. He has completely mastered it, and right now it makes no real sense to combine SM and BM in the same body. If he needs to improve the techniques, he just simply needs a clone to do it as well. Just like when he uses rasengan or rasen shurinken.....

We've speculated this for a long time now, but last chapter pretty much proves that Kurama's chakra and natural chakra can't be combined.

BM Naruto when he's collecting nature energy:

ofcourse its possible, if at once we though the juubi had chakra but now its more like natural energy, that means there's connection.

And ffs naruto already did against nagato briefly.

In this case it seems that naruto simply turned off bm mode and just went sage mode.

I doubt it will happen in an instant anyway and just combine it with some control unlike when fought nagato.

he just needs to train for it,but i think kishi will come with some BS reason to not let naruto combine them,because if that happens he'll be OP as hell,look at naruto what he has become after using SM,he's almost 10 times stronger,just imagine what will happen if these two modes get combined

Chakara is chakara. It doesn't matter how he gets it or in what form it comes in. As long as he can use it

SM chakara allows him to punch people who he doesn't even touch

BM chakara is much more aggressive, tangible, and overall deadly

So it may also quash some theories as to the SO6P and the different sage modes, but for all intents and purposes I would agree with you if it were not for the picture below
