Maren is fairly pale skinned girl and possesses deep blue eyes and long wavy blonde hair. It is these physical aspects that often lead to her being described as beautiful by her peers and those around her, often mistaken for being older than she is she holds a mature demeanor as well as many physical traits most often possessed by those in there early twenties. At 5"8 inches She is of average height and has a slim build, often seen wearing a grey vest top, black trousers and a black leather look jacket with knee high black boots. She has a tattoo on her lower calf and wears a chain necklace round her neck which holds on it her forehead protector.

Personality:

She loves to train and can train all day, so much so that even her senpai was unable to keep up with her. People who can match her in strength, speed and agility, still find it difficult to match her skill and work ethic. She is well versed in combat, strong and good-looking as well as being extremely fast (more on that later).
Due to her very troubled past memories of her original home village in Sunagakure, and being on her own since around the age of 13, Maren has grown to be the most mature and level headed of ninja. She has a very tomboyish demeanor about her and is shown to be very tough. When a battle commences, she is usually the first to act, is quick with her decision making, and remains relatively calm in stressful situations. Maren also has a very sadistic side and can be seen numerous occasions expressing the enjoyment she gets from killing. This bloodlust took form at a very young age when she killed her first opponent toward the end of her life in Suna.
She appears oblivious to the feelings she puts in others, and about other people and their emotions, perhaps an effect from her earlier isolation and lonesome travelling. She loves her powers and being in control. There is nothing that she enjoys more than winning, and hates to feel helpless.

History:

Maren was born to Arun and Lyn and was chosen at a very young age by the Sunagakure higher ups to be one of ten young students (Maren being the sixth selected, hence the nickname 'Number Six'). Chosen by the elders because of her unique gift, it was noticed at birth that she had a very different chakra to other children and it was eventually determined that Maren was blessed with possession of the unique Swift release Kekkei Genkai, it is for this reason that she was added to the group of children whom would be trained specially in order to grow the next generation of Elders, more powerful than their predecessors. As a child growing up she was always very hyperactive, running, playing with the other kids and often finding herself getting into trouble with the people around the village.
One day a group of rogues invaded Sunagakure and in the chaos of battle Maren was taken away from the village to be kept safe as one of the ten chosen students, she was taken straight to a small village and was left there with a single guardian (Katarina). After arriving, Maren and Katarina, started life in the small village together in peace.

Six lived in the village until she was nine but was forced to move when, Katarina and her had a close call with more rogue ninja. They moved to live in another smaller village not too far from their previous home, here Maren made friends with a young girl called Ashley who used to boast about her family life and activities. Six (Maren) had always wanted a true family, Katarina was all she had ever had. One day Six was accused of being a liar by Ashley, an irony as she has lied about her inheritence everyday of her life and when she actually told the truth for once, she is called a liar.
Six and Katarina remained in the village besides her being now lonely and unable to speak to her one friend. On Maren's thirteenth birthday the rogues from before found the new hiding place of the pair and attacked them without a second thought. In the exchanges Katarina was killed and Maren was taken prisoner.

Having been imprisoned for 185 days, left to think about home and her village, upset and angry that they never came for her she felt abandoned and unwanted. In this anger she ripped off her Sunagakure headband and crushed it beneath a rock, severing all ties she held with her former village and promising herself that once she escaped from her prison she would leave Sunagakure behind and start a new life elsewhere.
After spending a few weeks dedicated solely to perfecting her special art in her cell and eventually becoming able to use her swift release comfortably and fluently she felt she was ready to begin planning and as well as mapping out the building. Once she felt she had all the knowledge available to her Maren decided it was time to make her move. Waiting for food one day she curled up in the corner of her cell one eye on the cell door awaiting the rogue assigned to her to open the door. When eventually the creek of the door was heard Maren whizzed into life and shot herself toward the guards at extreme speeds pulling a kunai out of his pocket and slitting his throat with it. As she neared the escape door Maren heard the voice of her guardians killer, this voice triggered a killing instinct inside her head which she had not known existed.
From here Maren decided not to escape but instead slaughtered all of those who had once mocked or abused her in the cells, saving Katarina's killer for the end she took her time with him, from this kill she began to enjoy watching the blood stream from her victims and began to relish the thrill she received upon completing a kill. Eventually she was able to contain herself and snap back into reality, from her escape she walked for weeks before finally she found her new home in the form of Iwagakure.

Additional Information:

Swift Release: Born with this unique Kekkei Genkai Maren is able to use her chakra to move her body at extreme speeds as well as to make other objects move at said speed, though all require handseals.

Mogadorian Blade: Maren carries a blade with her to all her battles, the blade is a short sword and is kept in her belt.
