[Discussion] Anyone else think Mangastream's translations have been off recently?

I read 610 for a slightly better translation than yesterday, but i've got a feeling Kishi probably never wrote it like this in Japanese.

Last week it was weird when Naruto said curb stomping.

The kyuubi said sick aim.

Here's my favourite by killer Bee.

They just translate it better. By that I mean, they interpret it, as what you could have said - in English. If you direct translates it, it doesn't make much sense. But you are right that they often translate it a bit different. But it may just be a way of talking. Especially regarding Bee, since it is rap, and Japanese rap is probably nothing like american rap..

I think they did it to give you the same point, but make it funnier. To the thing with Bee, remember, what he says rhymes in Japanese, but not English. So, they have to tweak the wording a bit to give us the same point, it has to rhyme and it's gotta be funny and light-hearted.
