Re: Vision continues my Fire
lets continue.
I'll explain and describe to what makes sense. You add advantages and disadvantages along with questinos if you have any.
Lets roll~~~
( Katon: Gōenkyū ) - Fire Release: Great Blaze Ball
Ok, notice the hand seal requirements for this technique, though it’s two hand seals required, therefore it’s still fast enough for you to use if you need to. If you had read the description, it says “exhales”, which means you release the fire from your mouth using shape manipulation to create a sphere and that will carry your opponent away as will explode on contact.
( Katon: Gōenka ) - Fire Release: Great Flame Flower
So you jump in the air, then release fireballs down rain down on your opponent. The end result is what you should look at. As that will at least trap your opponent or they have to deal with it. You really don’t have to connect with it, just launch it in a general area.

Re: Vision continues my Fire
Great Blaze Ball
Advantages
-Having reduced handseals, it is quicker to launch.
-It can be used to escape. Once the user launches it, he can flee as it will block his opponent's vision.
Disadvantages
-It can block the user's vision of the opponent.
-Since the opponent can see it coming, he can easily prepare a counter.
Great Flame Flower
Advantages
-It has no handseals and so can be launched really quick.
-It can be used to attack many opponents in one place at once.
Disadvantages
-As soon as the user jumps into the air, he is vulnerable to aerial attacks.
-It is hard to focus it directly on an opponent.

Re: Vision continues my Fire
alright you might have known from the jutsu's that you have learned thus far.
There are types to jutsu's.
Fireball
Stream of fire.
let me see if you can explain how these work.

Re: Vision continues my Fire
Oh yeah
Fireball
As the name implies, it is a ball of fire. This means that when releasing it, the user constantly uses shape manipulation to mold his chakra into a ball and keeps wrapping chakra around that ball and then he releases it at once.
Stream of Fire
As the name implies, it is a continuous release of fire chakra to keep the fire burning as it ravages towards the opponent. Here, instead of molding the chakra using shape manipulation, the user simply release the fire and keeps fueling it with chakra until it meets the target.

Re: Vision continues my Fire
ok you know how they "work" but i want to know what happens after it's released.
Like the fire ball travels inbetween the two people battling at whatever speed. but it's still a ball of fire.
but what about the flame version?

Re: Vision continues my Fire
The flame or stream travels slower than the fireball and but it's direction can be changed even after being released as the user continuously fuels it?

Re: Vision continues my Fire
Well sorta. never heard that one before but the most important thing is that the ball itself is disconnected from you however obstruct your vision of your opponent if launched at him. Also the flame versions only works as you start --> continue --> finish the jutsu. If you get caught or interrupted in the middle of the jutsu like blow the flame out of your mouth then the jutsu would get stopped. Not the case for the fireball.
Understand?

Re: Vision continues my Fire
alright
( Katon: Honoo no Hashira Jutsu ) - Fire Release: Flame Pillar Technique
This one seems self explanatory, You shoot a short burst of flames towards the ground near the opponent to shoot a 3 meter pillar up to damage your opponent. Pretty easy to describe this one and it’s pretty clear I would think.
( Katon: Kaen Senpū ) - Fire Release: Flame Whirlwind
Do you know what a whirlwind is? I’m not being sarcastic or anything just asking you what it looks like as it would give you a more clear understanding of what this jutsu would look like. Again note the hand seals. This technique takes five of them so plan accordingly when using this jutsu.
( Katon: Hi no Iki ) - Fire Release: Fire Breath
Another self explanatory technique, doesn’t require much detail, but this is a fast jutsu as it takes no seals, however again with any flame jutsu’s, it stays connected to you while you blow the flames out.

Re: Vision continues my Fire
Flame Pillar
Advantages
-It requires no handseals so it is relatively easy to perform.
-It can be effective when attacking an opponent in motion if timed properly.
Disadvantages
-Since it is first released at the ground, the opponent has enough time to react.
-Since it is only one pillar, it can easily be avoided or counter.
Flame Whirlwind
Advantages
-It can be used to defend the user from some short ranged taijutsu attacks.
-Since it is around the user, he can use it to attack people in his blindspot.
Disadvantages
-It requires handseals.
-The opponent can see the fire erupt from the user before they proceed to him. So he can come up with a counter.
Flame Breath
Advantages
-It requires no handseals so it is relatively easy to perform.
-Since it is a flame that is released continuously, it can be used to pursue a target.
Disadvantages
-It obstructs the users vision.
-Since it is a flame, it has to be fueled continuously so if the user stops fueling it, the technique ends.

Re: Vision continues my Fire
Alright moving on.
( Katon: Honoo no Heki ) Fire Release: Flame Wall
create a wall of flames through the use of your forarm. Has to wave it in front of you while releasing your chakra
( Katon: Hinotama no Mai ) - Fire Release: Fireball Dance
First it's done based on a finsihing/ending move of a kenjutsu attack. Freeform your way with a few slashes and jump in the air and release the fireball through the sword. It requires you to have a sword.
( Katon: Yūgana Honoo ) - Fire Release: Graceful Flame
This flame throws your opponent into the air while burning them.

Re: Vision continues my Fire
Flame Wall
Advantages
-It requires no handseals
-It can be used to obstruct the opponents line of sight while a team mate or clone launches a second attack.
Disadvantages
-The hand being swung must be used to keep the wall active and so if the process is stopped halfway
-This wall can backfire at the user if the opponent used an A rank and above wind technique to overpower it.
Fireball Dance
Advantages
-No handseal is required.
-The slashes can be used to distract the opponent before the main fireball is launched.
Disadvantages
-Since it is a combo, there is always a high probability that it would be intercepted half-way.
-It's range is short so the user can easily be caught in a quick response or counter from the opponent.
Graceful Flame
Advantages
-No handseal
-It can be used to attack an opponent who is running head on at the user.
Disadvantages
-Its range greatly hinders its usage.
-Since it is only one flamethrower, the opponent can easily device a counter. If they were multiple, the opponeot would have a hard time defending.

Re: Vision continues my Fire
Flame Version
(Katon: Gamayu Endan) - Fire Release: Toad Oil Flame Bomb
A combination of oil and fire, creating a massive fire ball, I included this jutsu in this section as you would need to release the oil first and then use a fire ball jutsu to ignite it so that it turns into a massive fire ball.
(Katon: Shageki Bisuketto) – Fire Release: Firing Biscuit technique
(Katon: Keshi Makuga Hara) - Fire Release: Exploding Flame Crater
Only one that I can remember that comes from the ground. Now the tunnel is made open on your end, but it is closed on the other, when fire is breathed into it, lava shoots out the other end, similar like a volcano. See here ===> http://naruto.wikia.com/wiki/Exploding_Flame_Crater
(Katon: Hokori Tenka no Jutsu) - Fire Release: Dust Ignition Technique
Personally, I would not use a jutsu and here is the reason why. You already know that the combination jutsu of wind and fire increases the fire by a single rank. Also it gets bigger and such, but in my opinion, you are creating a fire on the ground and then combining it with wind jutsu to release it at your opponent. Why not just use a fire ball type jutsu and then combine it with the wind while the fire ball is already traveling towards the opponent? Either way, this jutsu, you create a fire on the ground and then use a wind jutsu to make it stronger and attack the opponent. Remember, you can not use a slicing type wind jutsu to make this work. The best one to use in my opinion is Pressure Damage.

Re: Vision continues my Fire
Toad Oil Flame Bomb
Advantages
-Since it is a combo, it's power is definitely more than an ordinary fireball and so, the opponent needs more effort to stop it.
-It has a wide range reach.
Disadvantages
-Requires handseals
-The user must know oil release or toad techniques to use this.
Firing Biscuit Technique
Advantages
-It give the opponent a harder time escaping the 16 Pillar Bind.
-It can be used on many opponents once they have be successfully trapped by the first 2 combos(16 Pillar Bind&Sticky Mud)
Disadvantages
-Since 2 techniques have to be used first, there is a high probability the opponent(s) would escape.
-Can only be used with the combo.
Exploding Flame Crater
Advantages
-No handseals
-The opponent would be taken unawares since it is coming from the ground.
Disadvantages
-The opponent can easily see the user create the tunnel and release the fire into it.
-It is useless against a sensor or doujutsu user as they will be aware of the chakra coming their way.
Dust Ignition Technique
Advantages
-No handseals
-It can be used to destroy things that come from the ground(e.g Wood)
Disadvantages
-Like you said, which I agree with totally, it wastes chakra because it doesn't give the desired result a fire/wind combo should give.
-Since it is travelling on the ground, the opponent simply leave the ground to avoid it.

Re: Vision continues my Fire
Toad Oil Flame Bomb
Advantages
-Since it is a combo, it's power is definitely more than an ordinary fireball and so, the opponent needs more effort to stop it.
-It produces more light than a normal fire jutsu. This was shown when Jiraiya used it; hence, it can be used to cancel Nara shadow techniques.
Disadvantages
-Since the oil is released first, an opponent with a faster counter can effect the oil before the fire ball is added.
-The user must know oil release or toad techniques to use this.
Firing Biscuit Technique
Advantages
-The usage of the fire in such an enclosed place is good because many opponents may resort to using the wind stream technique or hurricane fist to escape. But when fire is involved, using such is only to one's detriment.
-It can be used on many opponents once they have be successfully trapped by the first 2 combos(16 Pillar Bind&Sticky Mud)
Disadvantages
-Since 2 techniques have to be used first, there is a high probability the opponent(s) would escape.
-It can only be used with the preceeding combos.
Exploding Flame Crater
Advantages
-Since it explodes as lava, most opponents would be confused as to whether they are facing a lava user or not.
Advantages
-It is used as a single jutsu although it is a Wind/Fire combo. Therefore, it saves 1 jutsu slot for the user whereas it was supposed to take 2.
-It can be used to destroy things that emerge from the ground(e.g Wood)
Disadvantages
-Like you said, which I agree with totally, it wastes chakra because it doesn't give the desired result a fire/wind combo should give.
-Since it is travelling on the ground, the opponent can easily see it and simply leave the ground in order to avoid it.

Re: Vision continues my Fire
@ this Exploding Flame Crater
[indent]Most in our rp will have mastered basic five so one can reason out that it's not a lava technique. Though lava is present and they can't ignore that portion.
Shape Version
(Katon: Zukokku) - Fire Release: Intelligent Hard Work
Also known as intense pain, this is a great jutsu to use it in a combination as the jutsu description suggests. If you know pressure damage and how that works, this is a good jutsu to use. BTW look at the pressure damage rank and this rank, tell me what happens on the combination. Also take a look at this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WFM4RwtJ8ZY
(Katon: Gōka no Jutsu) - Fire Release: Hellfire Technique
This technique, you shoot a big fire ball at your opponent, though when it hits it will turn into a big flaming wall of sort. Which means, technically, you do not have to hit them with a direct shot to be effective. A nice fire jutsu I think you’ll use a lot of.

Re: Vision continues my Fire
Intelligent Hardwork
Advantages
-As the video showed, this technique travels through the ground, destroying it. So if an opponent is just beneath the surface, it is a perfect way to attack him/her.
-On collision with it's target, this technique explodes rapidly and destructively. This is a good way to attack opponents running towards the user.
Disadvantages
-Since this techniques is frontal and also travels through the ground, it can be easily seen and countered. The best was to counter this technique, due to it's speed is to split the earth btw the user and the opponent. Hence, the technique would not achieve it's desired results.
-If this technique is used with Pressure Damage, the user may end up wasting two moves just to accomplish one aim.
Combining it with Pressure Damage makes it an S rank Wind/Fire combo and can be stopped effectively using a Wind/Water or Lightning/Water combo of equal rank.
Hellfire Technique
Advantages
-Since it requires no handseals and it's range ends at mid, it can be used very quickly and can therefore take alot of people unawares.
-If it succeeds in hitting the opponent, the high temperature it generates whilst engulfing him is enough to cause many 2nd degree burns
Disadvantages
-Before it reaches the target and turns a wall of fire, it can easily be avoided by going underground or upwards.
-Since it's main damage comes after colliding with the target, before it reaches, the opponent can either douse it with water or return it with a higher rank of fire.

Re: Vision continues my Fire
Use of Scrolls
The next set of jutsu’s are a bit different, as you need a scroll to perform them. Take a look at the jutsu in the spoiler.
Both of these jutsu’s work the same way. Take out a scroll, concentrate fire chakra into the scroll, perform the hand seal tiger and then it will release it to the opponent for an attack. The catch is, would you have enough time to perform this jutsu? Even though it only takes a single hand seal, you still need to pull out the scroll and open it.

Re: Vision continues my Fire
Exploding Dragon Strike
Advantages
-Since the fire dragon is sealed into the scroll, all the user needs to do is break that seal by channeling his chakra into it and perform the handseal to release the dragon at the opponent. This therefore helps to save the user the stress of kneading chakra in his lungs and releasing it.
-If the user is in a situation where he cannot breath properly due to the opponent using a poison fog or due to having a lung damaged, this can be extremely useful as the person does not need to inhale and exhale to attack the opponent using fire.
Disadvantages
-The time it takes to perform the move is too much. So an opponent would be ready for the attack.
-While is the process of preparing the attack, the user loses sight of the opponent. This is always a bad thing when engaging in a battle and must be avoided.
Fire Tiger Explosion
Advantages
-Since the fire tiger is sealed into the scroll, all the user needs to do is break that seal by channeling his chakra into it and perform the handseal to release the tiger at the opponent.
-The time taken to perform the technique is long, making the opponent ready for the attack.
-While is the process of preparing the attack, the user loses sight of the opponent. This is always a bad thing when engaging in a battle and must be avoided.
