Ok so i've decided to broaden my horizon of mangas and start Bleach but i've literally struggled to death with the first 20 odd chapters, i've seen the covers of some of the newer volumes and have seen some pretty awesome looking characters I believe one is called Grimmjow and Aizen... anyway is it worth the 500+ chapters? Also will it be up there with the One Pieces and Narutos?

**** yes!!! read it.......the beginning is really slow and after the arrancar arc it gets really slow as well but as an overall it is a great story
I would suggest watching the anime because it makes the battles so much better.

Yes, 10 times yes....Bleach can be slow at times and people judge Bleach from the slow moments, but Bleach is an epic Manga to read and i think Bleach is the second best Manga in my opinion.

As of right now Bleach > Naruto I really like it atleas not sure how much everyone else does....just make sure you skip the filler arcs..waste of time imo [=

well the first 20 or so chapters of every shonen are lame, but bleach will get better then better then crap (*cough* fullbring *cough*) then freaking amazing in this current arc which Imo is better than narutos current arc

Yes, I watched the entire bleach anime and when it ended, I started reading the manga from where it left off.

Let me ask you this has naruto ever gotten your clothes cleaner the answer is No so stick with bleach you will not regret it.
P.s stay away from the bount arc. Every thing but that kicked ass.

I'm picky as hell and I'm on the fence about seeing it too. I saw the preview for one of the movies and got interested. Everyone I know says it's pretty good.

It is definitely worth it, once the SS arc starts you will really enjoy it, it is probably the best arc in Bleach. There can be some slow moments but the battles that take place are spectacular and you really get to know the characters and their abilities. There are amazing twists that will keep you watching at the edge of your seat.
Sure, there are some bad arcs in Bleach, *cough* Fullbring arc *cough*. But I don't want to spoil too much. But aside from that Bleach has a great story and it is well worth it. The arc right now is amazing, probably the best since the SS arc, it couldn't be a better time to start.

YES! I'll admit the first arc was a little uninteresting but once you get to the shinigama and arrancar arc it gets a lot better. The current arc(final as well) is definitely the best so far and is awesome.
