Re: Kiritsugu teaches me to move Dirt :D
Well put. ^_^
For this jutsu, I would you like to send your Earth chakra into the ground and then focus on lifting sections of the Earth to move them around my clone.
Think of my clone as the hot dog and your rocks as the bun. Once you think you have stable control of the Earths you have gathered, smash my clone together.

Re: Kiritsugu teaches me to move Dirt :D
*I flow my Earth chakra into the ground and I use the chakra to lift up 2 slabs of Earth from the ground around your clone. Just as I am about to smash your clone, the Earth slabs fall back into rubble.*
"Ahhh, not enough chakra"
*I again flow chakra into the ground, and I make sure to give a little more. I use the chakra to lift up two large slabs of rock from the ground. I make the earth slabs fall in exact place left and right of your clone. I then make the slabs crush your clone, causing your clone to bust into a puff of smoke.*

Re: Kiritsugu teaches me to move Dirt :D
Perfect. ^_^
For this next jutsu, it would require some concentration as you did for the earth-sinking one earlier. Begin by channeling your chakra into the earth around you and as you do so, change the chakra within the earth from hard to soft. This will then allow you to dig into the earth.
Once you have done this, I will then send a shadow clone to a different location above the surface. When you come up, tell me where he has gone to.
Remember to try and detect him using your chakra while underground. Become one with the Earth.

Re: Kiritsugu teaches me to move Dirt :D
*I begin to channel my chakra into the ground below me. By doing thin, I am changing the physical status of the Earth from hard to soft. I then begin to dig into the softened earth. Once i have dug under the ground, you create a clone and want me to sense it. I flow chakra into the earth which allows me to sense certain things making contact with my chakra. I sense you clone and jump behind it and slice it neck,*

Re: Kiritsugu teaches me to move Dirt :D
Perfect. So this introduces a very important concept.
Why is it vital to know where your opponent is at at all times?

Re: Kiritsugu teaches me to move Dirt :D
If you are underground, your opponent might be able to move to a different location. Once I come out of the ground, for example, you could easily have moved if I couldn't sense you. When I come out of the ground, and am confused that would be a perfect oppurtunity for the opponent to kill you. When knowing where your opponent is it is an advantage because they have no idea where you are.

Re: Kiritsugu teaches me to move Dirt :D
Perfect. Surprising your opponent, basically.
Alright, next jutsu.
I want you now to begin sending your Earth Chakra throughout the ground. I will place a clone several meters away from you. When your chakra reaches my clone, control the earth around my clone to channel upwards, thus creating spikes around my clone to stab him.

Re: Kiritsugu teaches me to move Dirt :D
>.> Random position doesn't exactly suffice.
Be more specific on where you pierce him and why.
And also, how big the spikes are.
Lastly, how would you yourself escape from this move?

Re: Kiritsugu teaches me to move Dirt :D
I pierce your clone in a position that makes a Circe around him, and the spikes are directed to hit at his chest and stomach areas. By doing this it could give me a better chance of actually hitting an organ and ending the fight.
The spikes are 3-4 meters long that when they pierce through your clone, a small portion of the spikes would be poking out. By doing this size and position, it could meed him immobilized if he is not dead.
I could release lightning chakra from my body to destroy the spikes as they rise up. I could create a pillar of earth to launch me at an angle that would keep my from getting impaled. I could also change my body into water to protect me from the physical damage

WOW!
Yes, well done and put!
One last small detail, if you would allow me.
How might you also use Wind to escape? This will come in handy to defend against many of the Earth jutsus that we will learn in the near-future.

Hmmm.....
I guess you could try and use a wind technique to bring you up into the and avoid the spikes.

Re: Kiritsugu teaches me to move Dirt :D
Release it in a certain angle. Make sure you state that.
And well done.
Anyhow, for this next jutsu, I want you to build up a tremendous amount of chakra in your hands. Then, make a fist with both your hands and slam the ground, releasing that built-up chakra to cause a small tremor to flow towards my clone. Like a mini earthquake.
How might you use this?

Re: Kiritsugu teaches me to move Dirt :D
*I build up my chakra in my hands, I then slam my hands to the ground and flow my chakra into the the ground and create a tremor that shakes the Earth around me caausing your clone to get off balance and fall to the ground.
You can use this to make an opening in your opponents jutsu by making he become off balance. When they are preforming a jutsu with hand seals ot could make their jutsu mess up or be able to finish.
By flowing chakra to your feet you can prevent the jutsu from making you fall. You can also jump into the air to avoid touching the ground

Rain Tiger of Will, haha.
Excellent.
For this next one, concentrate your Earth Chakra inwards. This is a bit new as you were dealing with solid things beforehand. Build up your chakra to become sticky (perhaps add a bit of that Water Chakra) and spit it at my clone here.

Re: Kiritsugu teaches me to move Dirt :D
*I concentrate my Earth chakra within myself, and I keep it in its chakra form. Once I have channeled enough I also add water chakra inside of me which mixes with the Earth chakra. By doing this, I am able to create mud because water and earth makes mud. I then channel the sticky liquid inside of me which comes out through my mouth, and I spit it at your clones face blocking its vision.
This is a good technique to use because it can blind your opponent if in their eyes, and if on the body the mud could harden and prohibit movement. By doing this it could give you an upper hand in the battle.
To avoid this technique you çould quickly jump out of the way by using chakra in your feet. You could create a pillar of earth that could block its path. You could also over power it with a Fire of lightning techniques because fire would harden it and make it crumble and lightning has a natural affinity over earth and water

Re: Kiritsugu teaches me to move Dirt :D
You covered everything, as usual, however, aiming it towards the feet could also be a good tactic, to stop them in their movements.
One more thing - you also stop explosive tags and other potentially dangerous single hand tools in the air with this. Like Minato's FTG.
Alright, take a look at that cliff.
Proceed to send your chakra towards it to cause bits and pieces of the rock to fall down.
How might this be utilized offensively in battle?

Re: Kiritsugu teaches me to move Dirt :D
Ok
*I start by sending chakra from my feet into the earth. Once I have sent the chakra into the Earth, I start to make the Earth's physical form change on the cliff. Causing it to crumble and break apart. And the pieces fall down the cliff and smash into the ground below.*
This technique is useful if you are battling multiple enimies on a cliff. You could make the cliff break apart and fall to the ground below. Taking your enimies with it.
To avoid this technique, if you sense it starting to crumble you cold try to manuver onto stable land.

I guess if he is at the bottom of the cliff you could drop the rocks and rubble from up to down to the bottom. But I'm not sure how to lure them.

Re: Kiritsugu teaches me to move Dirt :D
Okay, I'll go into that with more detail later, it's a definition I made up myself...when you learn some new jutsus, I shall teach you. ^_^ Great job, as usual.
Mkay, much like the mudshot technique earlier, proceed to release a flow of earth chakra throughout the earth so that it surges towards my clone, throwing him off balance.
How might you think adding more Suiton chakra to this would affect the technique?
Also, why is it important to knock your opponent off balance in a fight?

Re: Kiritsugu teaches me to move Dirt :D
*I begin by flowing my earth chakra into the ground, giving me the ability to manipulate the Earth. Once I have created a flow of Earth chakra into the ground, I begin to also add in a flow of my Suiton chakra. By doing this the ground starts to turn muddy. I continue to flow the combination of Earth and Water chakras into the ground closer to your clone causing the ground between to also tun into mud. As the mud reaches your clone, your clone becomes off balance and slips into the mud (because it is slippery and hard to move across)*
By adding more Suiton chakra into this jutsu would increase the "wateryness and speed of the justu" while adding more Doton would make it thicker right? Certain situations might need a rise in more Suiton chakra or Doton chakra into the jutsu.
It is very important to keep yor opponent off balance because you will keep them at a disadvantage. Make them unable to finish preforming handseals and to open up attacks that you would he able to make without much contest sense they are not completely balanced.

Re: Kiritsugu teaches me to move Dirt :D
You answered in a perfect manner. o_O I have nothing else to add...for now.
Anyways, we're not quite done with this combo. Proceed to form the handseals of Ram → Horse → Dragon in order and then send your chakra into the mud you just created and formulate a dragon out of it.
The dragon should be able to spit mud at my clone.
Be specific on where you aim the mudshots and why you decided to aim them there.
