I dont undertand your post. And if you're an artist, you should be able to tackle different themes like bleach, one piece, tone, colour etc.

More competitive, but less contestants. And if that came true, the name of this contest would change to "Fanart of the month" because most of us just, are able to draw anime/manga style.

Some great artists such as Kyon can't draw manga/anime character as I see

As far as I'm concerned, I can take anything thrown at me provided I like whut i'm doing , but what about the others??
Some ppl are more suited with realism, some like to play on in between manga and realism, and others absolute manga. Yu can't force someone to do something he's not cool with.

It's terrible to a contest for everyone. How about 2 themes per month? 1 for manga/anime style and one for realism or half-realism :ice: .

I'm fine either way, the aotm is fine as it is.
but IMO, it can brings out new work, some people might
try to attempt something they've never down before.

Oh, not at all, color can be a advantage/disadvantage.
Voting is completely up to the voters preference. All about personal Taste.
