I dont think the gentle fist would even work on him. This technique is similar too gaara sand armor, and kidomaru spider armor.

Even if the person get in the stands , and is in range of using it. Kimimaro could make bones come from everywhere out of his body in a instant. I dont even think they would be able to do it without getting severly injured. Also Kimimaro has a technique similar too Kidomaru so he would block it

Kimmimaro's good, but not THAT good. And I firmly believe that the gentle fist still would go through his bones because the bones itself are not considered to be natural chakra insulators.
