Uhh...dying and going to SS when you died as a human makes perfect sense (like the Fullbringers).

When shinigami die, their reishi breaks down and becomes part of SS. So unless Kubo pulls something out of his ass, Gin is definitely dead.

Gin was awesome and that would be awesome, but I have my doubts.

Grimmjow was never confirmed dead so its plausible.

The fullbringers where humans who had spiritral pressure to fight with so I could imagine they would have their memorys.

He died man, the fullbringers where human when they die they go to Soul society Gin was killed when he was already a Shinigami, so I wouldn't get your hopes up.

Gin was pretty awesome, but I don't see him coming back, he has no place. Don't mistake him betraying Aizen and protecting Rangiku as him being a good guy, he wasn't. Think back to him talking to Rukia on her way to being executed. He broke her down and completely crushed her just for the fun of it, without being ordered by Aizen or having any purpose. He did the same thing to Ichigo while Aizen was fighting Kisuke, Yoruichi and Isshin.

He loved Rangiku, but that was the extent of his goodness.

I want to jump in on this one.

I personally don't think Gin died. I mentioned in another thread that i thought he was the perfect double agent and he was a snake. When a soul reaper dies, their Zanpakuto breaks down. We saw that with several characters, like Byakuya. he definitely was supposed to have died, though he is a coma. I believe Gin set out on his own just like he said during his final encounters with Aizen and this is where i think he FAKED his death. Its the only thing for an Assassin or double agent to do to perfect his skill and abilities and remain hidden. This makes me believe Aizen and him were in on it together to awaken Ichigo from the start because of the upcoming battle. I think Aizen knew something.

We never actually see Gin die, get a burial or ceremony like most main or important story characters. In the anime sure we see a limp hand. He told Rangiku a bunch of secrets. most of what we got to watch was a love story flash-back. Seriously i would think someone would be given honors or a ceremony of some sort for defecting as a double agent/assassin. He did it the right way, everyone thought he was the bad guy the whole time.

Though there really is no doubt at this point the revived Character(s) is definitely Grimmjow at this point along with half of Xcution

imo I think his intention by talking to rukia was to give her hope. She was ready to die and had accepted her fate , so I believe gin gave her that false hope because he knew there would be a chance for her to get rescued .
