I think he spat it out of his mouth, although in the anime he made it out of thin air. Perhaps he might be able to do what you said since it has been shown that he possesses high levels of intelligence, I mean creating edo tensei takes hell lot of intelligence, I have to say what you described really resembles Gaara's abilities, he can control sand in the air(dust), he can also somehow teleport using sand(when he was about to fight rock lee). Overall, nice theory!

Well , this thread is about how tobirama senju able to cast a HIGH LEVEL SUITON in a place where there is no water...
and probably this ability also is the key for his S/T jutso [ its really not an S/T but effect somewhat like teleporting ]...

Here in naruto part 1 , TOBIRAMA counters HIRUZEN katon with suiton with no available water source in the area :

it was said that TOBIRAMA was performing high level suiton jutso with practically no water...
So the idea that comes in mind is simply he can manipulate water vapor in the air...
which is bisically readily available when ever there is air... TOBIRAMA can condense invisible water vapor right out of thin air... [ if you are familiar with AVATAR this technique is also being us by KATARA the water bender ] Im just saying that
the idea of manipulating water is also the same with TOBIRAMA..


So if TOBIRAMA CAN MANIPULATE invisible water vapor in the atmoshphere (air) ; Maybe he can also manipulate his own physique which is by the way also made up of water (how many percent I dont really exactly know) then by making his own physique turn into vapor he can travel in the atmosphere then shows up ... Which may appear as teleporting.....Minato said that the level of S/T the second hokage is like not really high ... maybe because of the water vapor travels a lot slower ...

Either way it's a very interesting theory, the first theoretical analysis on what Tobirama's potential S/T jutsu was.

Minato held it in such high praise, it makes me wonder just how strong Tobirama was.

But i think that he teleported the water from
another place to where he was!

I don't know if it would be space-time jutsu if he had such feat but Minato said he did have a S/T tech. I'm not entirely sure about this. I will agree saying that it could be possible for him to vaporize himself and pass through the moisture in the air. He is by far one of the most elite users in suiton, if not the over reigning champ. He wielded a weapon called "Sword of the thunder god", this was only shown in filler so I don't know if it even matters but in saying this. Doesn't it have something in common with Minato's way to teleport? Flying "thunder god" and sword of the "thunder god".

Maybe him vaporizing himself to transport is his S/T jutsu but maybe this sword of his is somehow linked to his S/T tech if not the vaporizing style.

i disagree with that... in that sense its only summoning... like what ten ten do .. he summon weapons ... i think only obito has a pocket dimension ... unlikely to be true with tobirama
