I'm not sure what it is, though I have heard a few good theories. Some say it's the effects of Juugo's blood, a symbol of his hatred, gedo mazu, or black Zetsu. The first three sound the most believable.

well, it seems like kishi is giving sasuke the major role at this point. but i think naruto's time to shine is coming soon. like mastering "that jutsu" minato left for him, and also revealing whatever itachi gave to him. the only cruddy thing is that when that happens, the show will end.

yos, it SO did look like it. for a second i thought he i dunno, someshow captured some of the kyuubi's powers, or naruto was around. something like that. but karin said it was his own chakra. true it has never looked like that before

i think that remember sasuke came into naruto's kyuubis cell cage, way back when they first met after sasuke left in orochimaru's place?
well maybe there was some effect left over. prolly not, it has been a while. but it would be cool if it could relate it to way back then.

Sorry to raise chain gyus but i have another theory for this fact about sasuke.. I think kishimoto set up a trap about this one , just scoring in one chapter.. I think its naive to think that the author would set so easily a new ability around sasuke and yet for us to form the hint about it in the same chapter.. My belief relies at the fact that the picture clearly shows a form of the kyubi. Therefore i came up with the idea that it would possibly be kyubi's yang chakra that eventually isn't sealed in naruto as we don't know anything about it. And we know that Madara as well as three other persons were able to control the kyubi , maybe madara has something to do with this. Maybe its a start of the history of the yang chakra.. Another thought is that sasuke's source of at this point is his rivalry with naruto after he learned that naruto was able to defeat pain but that is just a thought

Where are you people coming up with this 'Kyuubi's yang chakra' theory. As far as I can remeber this was never mentioned in the manga. If it was please post which manga chapter it was so I can see what you are all talking about.
