He wasn't a part of Tobirama's team. That was Hiruzen and the other two elders.
He was a part of a squad under Tobirama, but that doesn't mean that Tobirama taught him.
Tobirama hated the Uchiha Clan? No. He's biased, yes, but that's completely reasonable from the things he had to deal with as Hokage and the battles he's assumed to have partaken in.
