( Satsubatsu Enjinto ) - Bloodthirsty Scalpels
Chakra cost: 40 (+5 per turn active)
Damage points: 50 ( non-chakra enhancement ); 80, +10 per turn ( chakra enhancement )
The Bloodthirsty Scalpels are Kuroudo Akabane's primary and most-used weapon. However, they are not just one 'weapon', but rather consist of 108 finger-length scalpels, each honed to a razor-sharp edge.
Akabane can use the scalpel in a variety of ways, either by just holding a few between his fingers, like claws, and slashing, or by throwing them at his opponent.
The scalpels are all individually indestructible, but they do not possess the ability to tear through everything. Without any chakra enhancement, the scalpels can easily tear through B-rank defenses.
The scalpels can be enhanced with fire chakra, upon which they begin glowing a bright red. The scalpels gain in strength, able to tear through A-rank defenses. Furthermore, upon contact with a victim, they release the fire chakra into him through the wounds they create, burning him internally.
The scalpels are one of the few ninja weapons to possess sentience. Much like a swarm of insects obeys a group mind, the scalpels possess a group consciousness. This allows them to perform more complex attacks like circling an opponent till an opening is visible, or deviating from their path to attack a moving target, without further command from Akabane beyond an attack order.
The drawbacks of the Bloodthirsty Scalpels are that Akabane cannot summon any creatures while the scalpels are in use. Moreover, they will not obey more than one person, so he cannot make clones that can use jutsu, like Shadow or Water clones. Lastly, if the nature of his chakra changes, such as by using Sage Mode or EIG, the scalpels will refuse to obey him.
±± Declined ±± the idea is awesome and i love it personally. However, 108 sentient chakra scappels that can dodge attacks on their own while each capable of passively overcome on B-Rank defense makes it too powerful. I mean, what if you used 108 at the same time? 108xB-Rank...nothing would stop it. Tone it down a bit in their individual strength. Suggest: the user can channel chakra into 1 scappel that will become capable of overcoming a B-Rank defense or use all as a swarm, capable of overcoming A-Rank defenses. Each scapel should passively be slightly stronger than a kunai. I think you understand what i mean.
( Magen: Akabane ) - Demonic Illusion: Red Wings
Chakra cost: 35 (+5 per turn active)
Damage points: N/A
The technique Akabane named after himself is a very useful illusory technique that allows Akabane to gain an edge in speed over his opponents. When the technique is cast, Akabane's chakra shapes itself into a pair of red wings behind him. These wings actually exist; however they serve no function, and are just made of a small amount of chakra.
Once the technique is activated, the illusion is cast on the opponent whenever they look at the wings. Once this is cast, the opponent slows down. Their speed drops to that of a Jounin, and they begin making handseals laboriously at Chunin speed. However, the opponent's mind continues to think that the opponent is still as fast as he originally was, and treats the sudden gap in speed between Akabane and the opponent by rationalizing that Akabane has suddenly boosted his speed by creating wings for himself. This allows Akabane to easily win any battle of speed with an opponent, even if that opponent is initially faster than he is.
The drawbacks of the technique are that Akabane must lose some of his chakra every turn to maintain his wings. Moreover, Sharingan of the third tomoe and above can break this illusion, as well as Jinchuuriki, etcetera. Akabane's speed is not actually increased, so he can still fall to a ninjutsu of the opponent that covers a wide area, or surprises him, etcetera.
±± Declined ±± Again, amazing idea. However, it needs some tweakings. No genjutsu above mid range will be approved. You can create the situation (illusion) through genjutsu but you have no control over the reaction or reasoning of the opponent. You make him see you reacting faster but its his own free will to logically come up with his own logic of what is happening. Also, your description of the genjutsu isn't quite right. You can control his senses, thus you can alter how he perceives something through them. This said, you can make him perceive something that would make him move slower or you can make him perceive the speeds of his movement and yours in different rates. However, you can't in reality make him move slower through genjutsu. Its an illusion thus you don't really make him slower unless you make him...dunno...think he's in a tub of grease or that something is restraining his movement. Look at the parts i bolded
