auto ban with enough dislikes

There should be a way to get people banned temporarily if they get enough dislikes on a post, that way we can get rid of certain users even when the mods are offline

No way, because DrProofs last thread had heaps of dislikes.. is he being banned for a serious thread that people just did not agree with ?I don't think this is logical.

Basicly a way to shut up trolls just long enough until mods show up

The best thing to do is let the trolls be mods, that way they can just ban themselves, problem solved.

I don't agree with it. Some people would be unfairly banned, and knowing people from this site... they would most likely abuse the system just to get someone banned.

It's simply to easily to abuse. People could start organizing themselves just to get certain people banned, regardless whether they broke any rules or not. Saying that it needs to be a lot of dislikes isn't going to change anything about that as from the moment someone could potentially be banned by getting dislikes, it could be used for any kind of person, innocent or not.
