For some reason, my favorite paradox is the liar that tells the truth. They always lie, they are incapable of telling the truth, so if they do tell the truth, it must be a lie, yet it was the truth. It's just hypothetical since no one is a liar that can't tell the truth, but if there was such a person and they did in fact tell the truth...then what is it? Was it a lie or the truth. Silly I know, but I just like the concept.

This is actually called the Grandfather Paradox (in your case Grandmother) . . . . Basically Time Travel is impossible as it defies one of the most basic principle of the world but then again there considering an imaginary scenario things may happen:

1. Parallel World Divergence: You just create a new form of existence with an alternate history separate from the original......

2. World Self rearrangement: The World wont let your granny die to keep the timeline fixed..........

3. Isolation: You continue to exist but have no 'actua'l beginning in the world........

But these are just imaginary scenarios....
