I know it absorbs chakra but to what scale? Amaterasu is one of the most powerful ninjutsu witnessed yet. So my question is; could it absorb Amaterasu?

, I'm getting mixed responses. While it did get fried by Itachis' Katon, isn't there a chance it could become gravely injured but somehow survive it?

The only limit Samehada has shown in absorbing chakra is with quantity, not type.
