Who are the most underrated shinobi ?

I believe Jiraya and Kakashi are highly underrated.

Sasori.... He was actually one of the most powerful Shinobi, but sadly killed off due to plot advancement and willingly accepted the killing blow. :l

It's not like he could beat some of the tops, unless he opened the final gate (maybe), but I think Guy is pretty underrated. And I also believe Sarutobi is underrated by many, but we all know that's not a discussion that ever ends with a definitive answer ha.

Definitely Kankuro. Everyones all "Sasori" this, "Sasori" that! But what about his predecessor Kankuro, huh?! He's just as talented and has so much more to show, but unfortunately Kishimoto just gives him the shaft and doesn't seem to want to develop his character any further.

For those of you calling Sasori underrated, consider this: He has a bunch of hype behind him, he had a sob backstory, plus he has a strong fanbase to boot. That doesn't sound like an underrated character to me! But I guess I must have a different definition of the word "underrated" than most other people on this forum...

Shikamaru and Darui, their characteristics kind of make them underrated because they're both really lazy and almost too nonchalant, but both of them have a whole lot potential. The way Shikamaru defeated Hidan and his command of the Shika-Ino-Cho Formation are ingenious, and he's in second command over Gaara's company and he's just a Chuunin. Darui he's the Raikage right hand man, commander of the first company, and defeated the Gold and Silver Brothers. Both characters have a lot of potential.

I thnk shikamaru i highly underrated . . . If u recall he never lose any battle ,single handedly defeated immortal akatsuki member who killed asuma easily and nw he made proxy commander . . Approx similiar to darui kakashi kitsuchi etc

See that's the thing that gets me mad some of these underrated characters have somuch potential but since there not senju uchiha or uzimake it doesn't matter anywho shino n suigestu are under rated

most underrated character is either shikamaru, or choji. shikamaru might be the only ninja in the narutoverse who is more clever than kakashi. choji can turn his fat into chakara, and hes huge. or than again i think sai is really underrated. he was apart of danzous secret anbu squad root. neji wasnt even an anbu so you know he has to be very skilled in what he does, but he never showcased anything amazing to show.

Well I guess there is a lot of underrated characters but I think the most underrated is Zabuza,I mean the guy had so much titles,a survivor of the bloodmist era,the demon zabuza,a legendary swordsman and he got a kekkei genkai at his back but still yet he was the 1st villain to be defeated,brought back to life and still got stoned.I just think there was so much we could have seen from the guy but we only saw him use primary jutsus and got beat
