I been reading some threads here and there, and the general consensus is that Terumi Mei is the weakest of all five kage, and how multiple ninjas in the narutoverse will own her. With two kekkei genkai, earth, fire, and water natures; not to mention Kirigakure no Jutsu (which is only useless against the byakugan) why is she so underrated??? I apologize if this was posted in a previous thread i just want to know.. P.S. DON'T FLAME ME

Most characters are only Underrated because the Manga doesn't go IN-Depth with their abilities.
The only reason the Uchiha are overrated more than the Senju is because they go in so much Depth with the Uchiha.
That causes more Uchiha Fanboys, and Uchiha Diick Riders.
Why can't everyone just face facts?

TBH, It's all about styles and she has a style that can cause problems for all the kage.. Imo i think Ooniki handles her easili with his jinton. She is extremely powerful and im reading threads about how Sasorican destroy and all sorts of other bullcrap.. It's MINDBOGGLING.

Because of the Misconception all because your the weakest out of the 5 doesn't mean your weak at all, Lets put it like this if someone is ranked 87th in the world in a video game out of 89 million people who plays it and they always lose to someone ranked higher then them does that mean they suck ? Alot of people get but hurt when there favorite character or a character of there's loses.

She's very strong, but there has to be a worst Kage and it happens to be her.

She's extremely strong, but she is the weakest of the current Kage. And that is only because the other Kages are so strong. But she's close to A. Oh nevermind, I forgot Gaara was a Kage. She is stronger than him, he is really overrated. IMO she is stronger than Itachi

I respect your opinions, to me she is tied with Tsunade/A.. IMO She is stronger than Gaara, then again he is only a teen.

Mei is a strong Kage, but among the current 5 Kage she is the weakest. Even Karin was able to dodge her lava.

Mei has no resistance or shields or the ability to fly. Sure, Mei has powerful ninjutsu but i still don't see her being better than the rest of the Kages.

I personally think her boil release is one of her best jutsus now her resistance isn't the best. She can use her lava release as a smoke screen , and use kirigakure no jutsu, not to mention earth release.. Either way she is extremely pwerful. IMO my beef was the fact that board members were saying how fodder characters would rape her..

It's because she is very young. The 2nd youngest, and obviously Gaara has done much more than Mei.

She is a genius at ninjutsu, but that seems to be about it. Against Madara she is pretty useless, though she could probably kill Tsunade.

In a 1 vs 1 Mei is a brilliant shinobi, but THIS IS THE GOD DAMN NARUTO VERSE. 1 vs 1 is just comparisons made by idiotic fans like us. It never really occurs, and we will probably only see one more 1 vs 1 fight in the rest of the series. In a team fight, Mei can block ninjutsu with ninjutsu, and that is about it. Her jutsu aint the level of Onoki or Gaara, and her tajutsu is nowhere near any of them. So that makes her the more useless one. Not weak, but useless.

I agree she is underrated. Although we haven't seen her use any genjutsu or much taijutsu, being able to use 5 elements makes her extremely versatile. She just did poorly against madara and part of the reason is because she's not very team friendly - she cant use large scale lava jutsu without harming everyone else and boil release is completely out of the question. In a way she's more deadly on her own, especially in an enclosed space although I dont see why her boil release cant be used in open spaces.

Probably because she hasn't shown more variation to her Lava Release (sticking to the generic spray) even though I believe she has more Lava and Boil release techniques.

Her water jutsu are more impressive IMO
