But really, it was a waste of a chapter. It's obvious Juubi will break out by the next chapter or so, so all that work was for nothing. the SA just wasted a bunch of chakra. But I did like how Kishi wrote out their combination with the help of Shikaku :D

Loved this chapter. A combination of that magnitude using that many separate shinobi would be a nightmare to coordinate/pull off yet kishi showed how it'd be possible. Haven't seen this scale of tactics at work in Naruto before.

2. How does Shikamaru's dad Shikaku knew about Obito 5 mins. May i remind you that Kakashi Was the one who know the Pain's 5 sec delay during Pain attack. From the start, Kakashi was fighting Obito, and like Madara, he always testing certain issue before confirmation.
3. Sarutobi Clan. The 5th Hokage Tsunade is the granddaughter of 1st Hokage. Don't tell me that when 1st Hokage die, all his clan also vanished. Are you comparing with Uchiha Clan...

Manga is Manga, Anime is Anime. They are different.
Try watching a few Anime (past) and Try to match to the Manga.
Part-1 was part of Kishi. Part-2 is done by another group WITH Kishi approval.

I don't understand why Madara just doesn't fire endless jutsu at them.

Possibility, Madara run of chakra which he tested many things during fight with Kages.
He wanted to test some more things that where he told of Obito not to start yet. He looked tired in previous chapters.
Looks like Kabuto Edo Madara is different from Nagato rinnegan, which Madara want, when Nagato (during Pain invasion), which ALL those killed by his jutsu were being revived as Normal Life!

Madara wanted to capture both 8 & 9 tails, but why he did not, but sit and watch Obito fight.

Why are everybody so upset with this episode? 4/5. Good chapter, a lot of fighting and an exciting ending. If you find this boring, I wonder what makes you excited. People expect too much. Don´t set your expectations so high, you'll only get disappointet.

Honestly, a chapter alone SHOULD NOT be rated without considering previous or forthcoming chapters.
Its probably better to have a rating system for a collection of chapters instead of just one chapter because it seems people ask too much from one chapter.

If a chapter has too much action, people will react:

Or Kishi may introduce an 1) idea before the 2) explanation. He may introduce some sort of interesting yet shocking idea as a setup chapter and people will demand explanation right away on that same chapter:

Then he'll probably give the explanation as an explanation chapter several chapters after and people will still probably react:

Well, it wasn't overwhelming, but it was a good chapter nonetheless. The allied forces fighting together clearly has its touch. Their performance was quite impressive, even though Kishimoto had to make Obito and Madara do nothing in order to actually give them a chance of demonstrating their powers. Furthermore, this seems to be the army's elite, the survivors; the useless, imbecile trash that we got to know during previous parts of the war was sorted out by Zetsu and Edo Tensei, in the end. No, here we have several Kekkei Genkai and high level Ninjutsu users. When I compare the amount of people people that were necessary to counter one of Madara's Katon moves to what these Shinobi just did, the size of that gap becomes obvious. Not just that their numbers were lower; the scale they used their techniques on was astounding, being able to house even the Juubi, who's several times as large as an ordinary Bijuu.

But no matter how impressive that combination was, Obito's and Madara's counterattack will be even more impressive.

- They have absolutely no idea of Madara's perfect Susanoo.
- The Juubi is evolving even further.
- They (and even we) don't know yet what Obito is truly capable of.

At the end of the day, they still won't stand a chance, that's why right now I'm even more curious on how they'll surive this intense encounter. Right now they're clinging, as Obito correctly states, to a hope that does not exist. I just hope that their hope will really be crushed; right now they seem too optimistic. Instead of a confident Naruto, there should be one in range, trambling of anger. And luckily, the more obvious the gap between Naruto's and Obito's intentions becomes, the more cold and arrogant he becomes again, and the more likely it seems. They're not many people anymore, so the chance of someone dear to Naruto being killed is considerably high. There's also still the news about the Kage's defeat that most Shinobi don't know about, yet; this might be especially interesting when it comes to Sakura learning about Tsunade. Chatte also made a nice theory about the resemblance between Obito/Rin and Naruto/Sakura, so something emotional might be happening here, too.

Other things I've noticed:

• Just how did the HQ find out Kamui's five minutes limit? Konan was the only one to force him beyond that limit until now, and as far as I know they did not have any connection to her. Is there a scroll called 'The mechanics of Kamui' or what?.
• I wondered why everyone in the HQ is so calm, despite knowing what happened to the Kage (Madara switched the location, their Chakra must be quite low). But then I remembered what Inoichi said about them not even having enough time to be shocked about Tobi's identity; I suppose the same may go for the Kage's defeat. Demoralizing the allied forces would be unwise at this point as well.
• Obito finally becomes Tobi again, in a figurative sense.

The only thingi can say good about this chapter is it may be good in an animated version, but in manga format I gave it a two.

Don't understand what everyone is *****ing about. The chapter was good, and had an underlying message that people completely missed. Tobi was talking about how the villages aren't actually unified and that nothing has really changed. Yet what we saw was a perfect uniting of all villages to pull of the best collaboration we have ever seen. All the elements had a specific purpose in that they all exemplify their respective country, ie konoha used fire for th fire country, sand used wind for the wind country, etc, etc.

People don't appreciate the things Kishi is actually trying to portray through his panels which as always were beautifully drawn. Also lol at people that said the alliance was fodder - they just owned madara, obito and the Juubi.

Also just because you want to see sasuke doesn't mean that every chapter until his is shown is crap since it didn't include him.

ok people. There is a very good reason why the 10 tails didn't do anything. All of the orders were given telepathically, so everyone was synchronized and virtually doing all their Jobs at once. Now, why Madara and Obito didn't do anything, I have no idea. Madara is full of himself and thinks that they can't possibly loose...he's already died once. he can die again.

I think it was a decent chapter. I would have liked it to have been a bit longer, but I have no complaints.

And for those wondering how Shikaku Nara knew about the 5 minute interval with kamui, remember that he had previously talked to Naruto telepathically (towards the beginning of the war, as Naruto and Bee were heading to the battlefield). I'm guessing that the link was never broken. Either that or the fact that the intel squad can locate and communicate with any member of the Allied Shinobi Force comes into play. I highly doubt it's a plothole though.
