I liked the chapter, don't really understand people that praise the last chapter and bash this one. It's one overall plot arc, with more action in one chapter and a bit more talk in the next...

What I find interesting is that Obito still has the leading role on the villain's side. After his relation to Madara was revealed, showing that he was behind it all, I thought Madara would take center stage and Obito taken out relatively quickly by Kakashi or turned good. But instead it is still Obito who is most active, Madara being more of a bystander, commenting things now and then. Obito is also the one to engage in the typical villain-hero-dialogues, as in this chapter on page 5-6.

I actually predict that they will continue with Naruto's part until Obito turns good. Then they will turn to Sasuke and Orochimaru.

I have a small theory about that. I think Madara is holding back because 1) he wants to bide his time til the Juubi matures, 2) he wants the Allied Shinobi Force to wear themselves out, and 3) he is planning on killing Obito and taking over his body somehow. That last one isn't based on any sound proof, but it would make sense why he hasn't been taking the reigns from Obito.

Just as exciting as I expected the Alliance to be...

Liked
- There actually being some plan to combat Madara and co.
- The debut of several cool clans, including the Sarutobi and being key.

Disliked
- A bunch of flashy but meaningless action.
- The last bit of their plan making little sense.
- Them suddenly knowing about Obito's time limit.
- Naruto employing the FRS after being told otherwise.
