To be honest, Obito seems like only one with real foresight in this series. The alliance probably will dissolve after the war and after a some time, the 5 nations will be back at usual warfare. Just look at WW2, most the allies became enemies right after. Naruto hasn't provided one answer to Obito's points besides basless "hope". This is why I'm finding myself more invested in Obito, he knows more about how the shinobi world works than Naruto. I can see why he hates the word hope so much.
