^ Instead of Team Asuma, what if a different team had to deal with the grief of losing there sensei to the hands of...

^ Kakuzu and Hidan.

^ Mind you, this would be a unfortunate loss for the team that gets handed the "Darkest Hour" card, but...
- It would mean more screentime for this team for further character development.

So, what team would you pick?

Sand Siblings with Baki?

Team Kakashi/Yamato?

m it would be interesting to see Lee handle gai's death i think he would handle it even worse than naruto did with jiraiya

Hm, though Team Kakashi is my favourite, for this I go with Team Gai, if only to see how Neji and Tenten would react to this. I already can guess how Rock Lee would react, sprouting something along the lines of 'The springtime of youth has made place for the wintertime of death' or something stupid like that.
But considering Neji is the levelheaded one of the team (seriously how did he get paired up in that team?) it would be interesting to watch his reaction

Tech., Naruto already had to deal with losing both Kakashi and Jiraiya to the hands of Pain, but at least he got Kakashi back.

Anyways, yes not only this but they would get that well needed "push" in order to make the late Guy Sensei proud of them obtaining there ninja way.

Neji's Byakugan would definitely evolve (The Golden Byakugan) or something like that.

And Lee would get a new move (like the Midnight Dragon like the Afternoon Tiger) and master the rest of the 8 gates.

Don't care much for Ino and Choj, but Shika alone makes it InoShikaCho >>>>>>> Neji, Lee, and Tenten given the development he gets. Hell, Team 10 as a whole gets to do way more than Team Gai. Look at Ino a chapter ago.

So that is why you created this thread. You want to see your fav team do something. Because Kakashi's death barely would register with Sakura and Sasuke. Kurenai? You kidding? Baki? Who? So Gai was the only answer. Sorry, but it ain't happening. Team 10 got that spotlight and that was it.

Neji, Lee, and Tenten are background players. If you want to see more of them go watch that Rock Lee cartoon. And Neji and Lee will never be on Naruto and Sasuke's level. Hell, they aren't really on CHOJI's level given what he did in the war. What did Neji and Lee do again?

harsh. But team Kurenai gets no action at all in the series....their first real fight is going to be against Madara, Obito, and the Juubi -.- Hinata and Shino are two of my favorite K11 members and they haven't been able to do anything

Would have been interesting to watch hoe Hinata dealt with it considering other than Naruto, Kurenai was the only other person who tried to encourage her

, they were together, when they "fought" Obito (when they were tracking itachi), but that was bs.. The only time i remember beside of chunin exams, which had no real team fights on their side.

I guess you don't know what "what if" scenarios are. I know good and well that it is far too late for Neji and Lee to get character development screentime. Ha! And that Rock Lee Chibi Cartoon is rubbish! I'll never watch especially since it cancelled "Bleach." Anyways...

The Sand Siblings are my favorite team, however, there screentime/paneltime isn't really needed, for Temari and Kankuro stepped up there game when "Gaara" got killed, then they were active participants in the Kage Summit, so yeah. Team Kakashi is second while Team Guy brings up the rear.

Exactly. They haven't really done anything -.- and I love Shino and Hinata...Kiba is pretty cool!
They haven't had one real fight in which the whole team was actually fighting.

They were there when they were saving gaara, and also neji is a tactic planner to so he'll organise lee and tenten
