*Note* Since the spirit has already been shown to move at incredible speeds traversing an entire battlefield in mere seconds, nobody without either a 3T sharingan or a byakugan would be able to follow the speed of it.

As Dan ships his sprit towards the konoha ninja, Shino sees the Kiri ninja on the large bird drop after making a handseal and the bird begins to rise. Shino, not knowing the outcome of the handseal used by the invading ninja, quickly makes a large pillar of earth rise and slam onto the ascending bird piercing it and the Kiri ninja on it's back before it has time to escape. Shino at the same time releases his bugs throughout the battlefield.
