Yep Shanks and Whitebeard are one of the 4 emperors. Another word for them is Yonko.

Yes Shanks is one.... and luffy said he would fight big mama when he got to the New world. Big ma is an emperor and if luffy defeats her i think he should get her spot.

he doesn't have any intention to become one. so I doubt. also to become an emperor you have to seize the previous emperor's territory.

Shanks is the best emperor about. And Luffy will fight her, not sure about him becoming an emperor though

Her territory is fishmen's island and luffy said he would take over it in her place because fishmens island is in danger as long as it is in her hands so luffy will seize her territory = emperor

He will def defeat big mama (shes the weakest of them ) :D And he will not become yonko for they are neither allies or enemis of goverment and luffys biggest enemy is goverment specifily aikanu( dont know if the name is right )

Luffy is only interested in becoming the Pirate King, though in the end I suppose the WG might consider him a yonkou but I doubt he'd intend to become one.

The title "Yonko" is decided by the World Government, and the World Government only. It's not like the Shichibukai where you get a letter from the Government to accept or decline to become one.

This title is decided on the strength of your crew and your influence in the "New World". Luffy becoming one is actually a high possibility.

the Yonkos are enemies of the WG while the Shichibukai are their "dogs". so I doubt the WG choose the Yonkos.

I think Law is going to be the emperor when their alliance defeats her. You say Luffy can't beat her yet, but together with Law, no doubt he can and will beat her sometime soon.

Yonko is not a step up pirates arent the marines they dont have a ranking system its whose stronger and whose weaker if luffy becomes a yonko he we ouldnt notice or pay attention to that title all he wants to be is pirate king thats it everything else is just a unwanted title that he wont even brag about
