Why taijutsu is effective against madara

If you know a bit about the ninja history, you can see that the ninja's then used 5 elements!

earth(do), water(sui), fire(ka), wood(moku) and metal (kin), each of these elements cite to a group of techniques.

Do cited to things like running on a vertical wall, sui were projectile techniques, ka was used for the concentration techniques, moku was taijutsu, kin were the weapontechniques( swords etc..).

Now you can see why masashi kishimoto thought that taijutsu had to be effective against madara because the first used wood-style against him that was very effective.

Or just because Genjutsu wont work at all, and he can absorb every ninjutsu so the only option left is Taijutsu?

Re: Why taijutsu is effective against madara

Because he's an Edo so he'll just regenerate from ninjutsu attacks and genjutsu would be pointless against an Uchiha with EMS.

taijutsu wont work that good when edo madara appeared to fight naruto he used his uchiha fan to stop naruto form using rasengan or he can counter taijutsu with shinra tensei because he has rinnegan
