wats really interesting is that wat obito said :

so like if somehow someone were to poison madara or obito atm wouldn't it mean for the alliance that they've practically beaten them??

or if somehow kabuto was brought here to the current battlefield , and then drug them that would be heaps good but i think his still stuck in izanami...

well, this said the juubi being pre-occupied or stuck temporarily like seen in the latest chapter would enable an opening

I dont think so. Madara is an Edo, it wouldn't affect him. Poisoning Obito is pointless..he'd just remove the affected area and replace it later.
