It's not that it was better back then, it was because NB was a smaller community. We're talking about a time even before my own. As the years have past, the site has become more popular; inviting in trolls and kids who get a laugh out of aggravating fanboys and posting their nonsense threads. To top it all off, they don't respect our staff members who work hard maintaining and cleaning the forum (no brown-nosing intended). Because of that, a lot of respected members have decided to leave. I personally find myself visiting the Naruto Discussion less, because all I see is troll threads and threads which haven't even been thought through; it's really boring.

Don't get me started on rep abuse, which is also a problem here...

I do feel the same sometimes too; I would have loved to support this growing forum much earlier. But you should be happy, back then, Narutobase was very primitive and not as developed as it is now today with great, modern features.
