COuld Nagato possibly know Rasengan from jman and even all of his fire technqiues and other techniques since it was said he mastered all of Jmans techs at the time?

Eh, he did not know about the rasengan then. Nagato learned all the base elements because of his Rinnegan

Jiraiya didn't know the Rasengan. Minato invented the Rasengan and taught it to Jiraiya

Jiraiya hadn't yet taught Minato, the creator of the Rasengan, so he couldn't have passed such a jutsu on to Nagato at that point. Anyway, if I remember correctly, didn't Jiraiya say Nagato learnt every jutsu he'd taught him, not that he'd taught him every jutsu he'd known at that time?

He MASTERED every element. Water is his favorite because Amegakure is water based and he makes it rain on the entire village. That's mastery. Other elements he never felt the need to use them because he has the Rinnegan. Originally Posted by VariaBossX

Jiraya said Nagato easily mastered every jutsu he taught to him
not that he learnt all his jutsu
there is a big difference... Nagato however, did master all the elements on his own....
